I'm sorry but the spirit you were filled with wasn't the holy spirit. If you had a fullfillment it was a spirit of your own lust. That's a gross sin that God hates and he's not going to send his spirit to be in the same body with the other. You will serve God or santin but not both.
You don't know whether or not he was filled with the Holy Spirit. Don't judge him. He said he's gay, not that he was engaged in gay sex. Have you ever sinned? Have I ever sinned? Yes, but does that mean that we can't be filled with the spirit? No.

Anyone that is born of God does not sin, and he cannot sin because he is born of God. The Evil one cannot touch him.

Only if you repent of your sin and turn from it, then seek God and ask him to fill you with the holy spirit, he will but you can't have it both ways. The holy spirit is something wonderful, it's pure. When God spoke to Saul (which he change to Paul) he told him to remove his shoes because he was standing on holy ground. When you feel his present the chills will run up and down your spine with no end. I wished the whole world was filled with the holy spirit. A peace would come over the land that the human mind couldn't take in, and God wants to fill every heart (every last one of them) but you got to seek it and there can't be any sin in your heart.

My friend, I was in the presence of the Lord for a brief time. And there were no chills. Sometimes people think these little emotional waves are the Holy Spirit, and it isn't.

When I was in his presence, I could not even lift up my head because of his glory. And you know what, I was FULL OF JOY!! It was eternal joy. I could just praise him forever and ever non-stop. I could not even cry because of the joy.

I believe it was David who said that in his presence there is fullness of joy. And then I knew that he had been in his presence too, because there really is fullness of joy in his presence.

May Jesus bless you.

Would you agree that David was born of God? "A man after God's own heart." Yet he commited the sexual sin of adultry. But you say those born of God doesn't sin. That means doesn't sin intentionally.

John says "he who says he has no sin decieves himself, and the truth is not in him."

What does he say of a man who tries to justify his sin?

A prophet of the Lord was also sent with a message of God to David. And David received his punishment. God did not excuse David, neither will he excuse you nor me nor anyone.

David deliberately disobeyed the commands of God, and God dealt with him. David will not be there to save you.

But David repented, many will not.

May Jesus bless you.

Homosexuality like other is a Sin, offcourse like other Sin, Satan will try to take Advantage of that Sin, even in Christians, he Exalts such Emotions and Desires, like he would Tempt or Exalt a feeling or Desire of Lust, just for the Example. Homosexuallity is a Sin, as far as i Understand it, that if Satan is looking for to Tempt a Man who isnt Homosexual, he has nothing to work with in that man.

A Pasive Homosexual is like any other Person who Repents from any other Sin, and just like any man with any other Sin is able to be filled with any Spiritual Gift and Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit.

Like any Other Sin, if you Sin you are in Bondage and just like any other Sin, if you are a Liar or like to look at a Women to lust after, the Holy Spirit although is still Present with us, will not be as Effective, Exalted as it should be.

If a Man is an Active Homosexual he can Repent, there is no issue about it, like a smoker or a thieve, someone with a Proud Heart and so on...and then again be Filled with the Holy Spirit in a great Measure.

Also, the Holy Spirit as i Believe is also active and convicting the Man who commits such Sins and will not Depart from him until the Grace of God will be pulled back. Remember were talking about Full of the Holy Spirit meaning 100%, i Hardly Believe that most of us or a great deal of us, although not Practicing Most Sins are really 100% Full of the Holy Spirit.

So yes i believe an Active Homosexual Christian can be filled with the Holy Spirit of some measure, therefor will be Convicted of his Sins and Repent, and yes i Believe there are Passive Gay Christians who are in a great deal filled with the Holy Spirit.
I'm sorry, I can't sit here and read this and not respond to it. You are so wrong. That's what wrong with the world today. People white wash sin like that and tell others it's alright. They don't know what God word says about it so in there heart they think it's ok. That's why America is going down the wrong path. Wake up America. The judgement is at your door. Jesus is still there knocking. For how much longer though. God have mercy on us.

homosexuality is an act, not a feeling.
So if your not acting on these feelings, your not gay..
if I am reading this right, your basically saying that a person is still gay if they choose to not act on their feelings? Everyone is tempted with something.. someone might be tempted to drink, does that make them an alcoholic? The Holy Spirit can talk to homosexuals, yes, (how else would I have been led to be saved) but the key is, you gotta want it. Most homosexuals (gay men who act on their temptations) deny the fact that they can change. I know this from three years of being set free from homosexuality. And for the most part (I go to a church that believes in speaking in tongues etc) your not gonna start of speaking in tongues right away, some do, yes, but for some, it's about stepping over that comfort zone.. I didn't get baptized in the spirit untill about 6 months into me being saved.
God bless you (hislastwalk) you said a mouth full. You are a wittness that God can save you, and you know you can't have it both ways. Tell the world your story.

Hi,

I believe that the Holy Spirit convicts ALL Christians, that's not my argument, or should i say my question.. When i say filled with the Holy Spirit, i mean like in the days of the Apostles, when it filled the disciples and they spoke in New Tongues, and were empowered like Jesus had promised them.. Is the same thing possible for homosexuals?.
Not while there's homosexual sin in there heart.

Perhaps you would like to present some biblical evidence to support your

We haven't tried to justify homosexuality, haven't tried to say "it's alright", we haven't tried to call it anything but sin. Our problem is firmly planted in the fact that homosexuality is not unique amongst sins. It is one of many different sins, and yet all christians can be filled with the holy spirit. As Paul explains in Romans 7, once we are saved it is no longer us who sins, but sin living in our body. So our spirit is a slave to God's law, the law of righteousness, a slave who doesn't sin, a slave who can and is filled with the holy spirit.

Also note, Jesus white washed sin, man doesn't need to.

No, anyone can sin, no matter how holy they are. Just being "born of God" doesn't suddenly remove all human weakness from our lives. We can still fall at any moment, regardless of how close we are to God.

Agree with you!
And noone here is justifying homosexuality, and even a born-again christian sins. Althoug we are called to be saints, we simply CANT be saints all the time, because or body here is corrupted. Saying you are supposed to never sin is a big mistake, although that should be our aspiration, led by the Spirit.

No, you made the point, so I'm disagreeing with you. Are you saying that someone who is born again will never sin again? If so that's obviously untrue.

Agreed, although you said "Saying you are supposed to never sin is a big mistake". Well we are SUPPOSED never to sin, but we will, being imperfect.

It seems ignorant to say that God or the Holy Spirit couldn't be in a homosexual. God is a lover, not a chooser. He wants all people. I understand that you view it as a most terrible sin, but I imagine God views it (if it is a sin) as one thing holding the two of them apart. None of us are fulling filled with the Spirit as we are all held down by our own demons. Why do think homosexuality is any different?

As a Christian, I follow the teachings of Christ. Christ never said anything against Homosexuality, so I don't think it's sinful. In my opinion; it's what the Son of God said that matters, and He never opposed homosexuals, so there's no reason why they should be seen as sinners.

God has spoken against it. And that same Spirit that was in Christ was in Paul, who spoke of it. In both the OT and the NT. And Jesus still speaks by that same Holy Spirit today concerning it. He has not allowed it. It is an abomination.

May Jesus bless you.
