Can Homosexuals be filled with the Holy Spirit?..

Sorry if this will offend anybody, and by the way this is not a thread to ask if Homosexualism is a Sin or Not.. :D.. Like i said earlier, I'm sorry if this will offend anyone but i find it funny or i just try as much as possible not to burst into laughter when i see Homosexual or hear of one that says he is filled with the Holy Spirit or speak in tongues..:D. Forgive Me!, but i'm just like that...

If we all agree, it's that Homosexualism is a *Bondage*, a demonic One!. And i personally believe that Homosexuals need Deliverance!... If i'm wrong correct me!. Homosexual feelings are caused by Demons right?.. So how can you be under possession of a Demon and claim to be filled with the Holy Spirit??????.. Can the both mix?. Can there be two Kings in a village?. One must leave for the other!..

So if you're Gay, then i think you have to first thinking about getting Delivered before baptism of the Holy Spirit.. Sorry but i find it puzzling, How can you be Gay and have the Holy Spirit?..lol. It's very funny to me :D..

Once again, i apologize for any offences that might be caused by this thread..

jimmy, in all Honesty, this is not to start an argument with you.. And i do not see you as somebody that i should always oppose.

But if you could please give me a reason why u think i'ts possible, it would do a lot of good!

I''m talking about the Spirit that possess Homosexuals! or the spirit that Homosexuals possess...Whichever way

It's on right now -- that would be 8:00p-10:00p your time, apparently (I just googled it).

I would encourage you not to laugh about this -- it isn't funny; it could mean the difference between life and death for some individuals... please be more sensitive to the needs.

It is a wicked and filthy thing to equate the Holy Spirit (Holy) with something so wicked. It is just amazing at what people will not do to glorify their own sin rather than repent of it.

This is a mess.

Tobby, Jesus speaks of the truth, don't trust men for answers, men who are turned away to follow their own lusts. Ask Jesus for answers, because many have perverted the ways of truth.

Homosexuality like other is a Sin, offcourse like other Sin, Satan will try to take Advantage of that Sin, even in Christians, he Exalts such Emotions and Desires, like he would Tempt or Exalt a feeling or Desire of Lust, just for the Example. Homosexuallity is a Sin, as far as i Understand it, that if Satan is looking for to Tempt a Man who isnt Homosexual, he has nothing to work with in that man.

A Pasive Homosexual is like any other Person who Repents from any other Sin, and just like any man with any other Sin is able to be filled with any Spiritual Gift and Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit.

Like any Other Sin, if you Sin you are in Bondage and just like any other Sin, if you are a Liar or like to look at a Women to lust after, the Holy Spirit although is still Present with us, will not be as Effective, Exalted as it should be.

If a Man is an Active Homosexual he can Repent, there is no issue about it, like a smoker or a thieve, someone with a Proud Heart and so on...and then again be Filled with the Holy Spirit in a great Measure.

Also, the Holy Spirit as i Believe is also active and convicting the Man who commits such Sins and will not Depart from him until the Grace of God will be pulled back. Remember were talking about Full of the Holy Spirit meaning 100%, i Hardly Believe that most of us or a great deal of us, although not Practicing Most Sins are really 100% Full of the Holy Spirit.

So yes i believe an Active Homosexual Christian can be filled with the Holy Spirit of some measure, therefor will be Convicted of his Sins and Repent, and yes i Believe there are Passive Gay Christians who are in a great deal filled with the Holy Spirit.

Hi,

I believe that the Holy Spirit convicts ALL Christians, that's not my argument, or should i say my question.. When i say filled with the Holy Spirit, i mean like in the days of the Apostles, when it filled the disciples and they spoke in New Tongues, and were empowered like Jesus had promised them.. Is the same thing possible for homosexuals?.

If they repent of their sins, ofcourse! MANY of the Romans were homosexual -- it was accepted.

If Active i Dont Believe so, for it says Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. One has to Repent befor he is able to get a good Measure or be able to be Full of the Holy Spirit.

Peter and his Brothers were Sinners, but Repented and Followed Jesus Christ, so they were Able to Recieve these Gifts such as Speaking in Toungs.

Depends, Is the Homosexual sexually active, or does he live a celibate life? If he lives a celibate life then yes, if he doesn't then no.

homosexuality is an act, not a feeling.
So if your not acting on these feelings, your not gay..
if I am reading this right, your basically saying that a person is still gay if they choose to not act on their feelings? Everyone is tempted with something.. someone might be tempted to drink, does that make them an alcoholic? The Holy Spirit can talk to homosexuals, yes, (how else would I have been led to be saved) but the key is, you gotta want it. Most homosexuals (gay men who act on their temptations) deny the fact that they can change. I know this from three years of being set free from homosexuality.And for the most part (I go to a church that believes in speaking in tongues etc) your not gonna start of speaking in tongues right away, some do, yes, but for some, it's about stepping over that comfort zone.. I didn't get baptized in the spirit untill about 6 months into me being saved.
