The awkward moment when you tell a person about Jesus and they tell you they don't wanna because they don't wanna lose theirselves in his love, and they miss the part you've had a crush in them the wholes time you've been praying for them.

Can you guys pray that I can get it to work out? I wanna help her and love her, but she's afraid.

I'd need a little more information. Is she an atheist? Buddhist? Muslim? Is she well read, or refusing God without looking at any arguments?

She's more agnostic, and she knows who god is
But she has every excuse in the world to not recognize him
She is definitely not well read and she thinks she can be happy w/o him

So you like her and want to date her, so are trying to convert her so its ok to date? And while trying to witness to her you're also trying to express your feelings for her at the same time? Hmm.

Yeah that doesn't seem like to wise a strategy to me. My advice is to do one at a time either try to convert her before you two are boyfriend and girlfriend or start the dating relationship and then pick up the proselytizing after a couple of months.

I agree with what's been said, if you dare date someone while trying to change them, they won't go anywhere as you are the one holding on them and not viceversa...

If you really loved her, you would allow her to be herself, and you wouldn't want to change anything about her. Just sayin.
