heyy guys :) i have this really insecure, depressive friend that I know needs to come to church and experience Gods love.. how would i come by persuading them to come to church? :)

you have to pray for them, and when u have a conv with them, just try to explain to them how great is our God but explain it step by step. hope it works ! :)

Giving them an iniative to come to church can and does work. But you are wanting them to come to church to find Jesus....not come to church then have a nice dinner.

Pray on it. Im sure God will give you an answer

How about you TAKE HIM TO AN ACTUAL DOCTOR. Tell his/her parents instead of "praying". Praying won't do anything “Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is the belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.”

Is your friend a Christian? If not why do you need to take them to church? Why can't you be the witness instead of resting it on the shoulders of the church? To me the focus of church should be to fellowship with other believers, get lifted up, or lift someone else up, to be fed by the message.. kind of a break from the world. Its my (as in our) job to go out into the world to preach, not to go out into the world, to get people to come to church and hope the pastors message effects them.
