Do animals gain access to Heaven?
I was just randomly thinking that.

Hope to see your answers and some scriptures backing your answer up. if possible!

Well in Genesis when it talks about creation, man is the only one that had the breath of life breathed into him so going by that I doubt that animals go to heaven. Not to say there arn't already animals there though.

Then why are they here?

Why would God take away something we cherish and love?

I don't know about any biblical proof of animals getting to heaven. But I feel like they would. :) For whatever penny that's worth.

God does all things to his glory.

Why would God take away something we cherish and love?
Isaiah 55:8
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

What you love and cherish, isn't always good either.

Animals, while having a soul, do not have the same "kind" of soul that we have.

17 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
18 “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing
And her people for gladness.
19 “I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people;
And there will no longer be heard in her
The voice of weeping and the sound of crying.
.............................
25 The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain,” says the LORD.

I'm not totally sure it's talking about heaven, and I don't know if it's more like a "token" wolf, lamb, etc, or specific ones that were also on Earth.

Referring to the "new earth".
