Okay so I notice a lot of the same types of threads pop up in this forum, and so I thought I'd just go ahead and list some stuff off. Hopefully this will help consolidate things, and get us all moving on to new territory. Where will Christian teens go next? I hope to find out soon.

1. masturbation is lust, lusting is against the Bible
2. premarital sex is a sin! However it isn't unforgivable, or an especially bad sin (no sin is especially bad)
3. You shouldn't curse
4. Homosexuality is a sin (also not unforgivable, obviously)
5. loneliness sucks, I know. and depression, that sucks too. (Things usually get better though, I promise. Don't kill yourself. Seriously)

6. Don't do drugs
7. Jesus loves you

Well... I want to comment on that list.

1. masturbation is lust, lusting is against the Bible
If you let it dominate your life yes... Eating is not a sin but gluttony is. So it is a big difference from masturbating (which I compare to taking a long hot shower, or eating some nice ice cream) and been stuck on porn mastrubating all day and having no life. And... when it comes to masturbation? Why do you need lust to masturbate? Sure you can do it because you are thinking of something special... but somtimes it can be just like a private massage... just nice... so then according to the bible, masturbation without lust would be ok.

2. premarital sex is a sin! However it isn't unforgivable, or an especially bad sin (no sin is especially bad)
I think you should think once as well as twice before you have sex sith someone. But the bible is written long ago in a society of patriarcal tribes and where the rights of esp women was sort of non-existent. A society where it is accepted to stone people to death and to sell your own daughters as slaves.

3. You shouldn't curse
I agree that a nice language is always better than cursing... even though cursing is not much of a sin but it is showing respect and behaving decent.

4. Homosexuality is a sin (also not unforgivable, obviously)
I would claim that my comment on pre-marital sex is the same as this one. Love is the force of God himself flowing through us. And if we love someone of the same gender and that person loves us back it is okay. Our world is very different now than 2000 years ago and in many ways to the better. Remeber Jesus... you shall not judge. And if you are sure that it is a sin... then let them find out for themselves. I have many gay friends and I do not preach to them that they are sinning (of course I tell them that Jesus is a great chap... and that they should look him up but thats about it).

5. loneliness sucks, I know. and depression, that sucks too. (Things usually get better though, I promise. Don't kill yourself. Seriously)
Loneliness is very painful! But we are given this life to live it fully. Don't be in a hurry to run away from it. If you are in pain... if you hurt... talk to us here... I have been there myself and I can promise it do get better. Pray to Jesus and he will give you streangth... and talk to your friends. And if you don't feel that you have any friends... talk to people here... don't give up.

6. Don't do drugs
Drugs are bad! I agree!

7. Jesus loves you
Yes he does! He loves everyone from the foulest sinner to the most saved pastor. No matter of age, race and gender he is out there for you. Just reach out to him.

Love to you all!

Ultimately good advice, I disagree with a few things, mostly masturbation being lust (it is possibly to separate the two) and homosexuality (though I appreciate you identifying it as not unforgivable as too many don't)

Jesus loves the soul... he looks for the good in man... he does not care what gender, age or if your are drunk or not.

Wait, isn't that judging? ;)

What makes drugs bad?

Are drugs in the bible?

Aren't you the one who's always saying that we shouldn't claim that certain things are right or wrong?

LOL
You got me there.

Well... Slavery is in the bible and it is even okay... I would still say that it is bad.

Trade in arms - not in the bible - still say it is bad.

Justin Bieber - not in the bible - still says it bad.

Drugs - not in the bible - still says its bad.

Just my personal opinion... you know... you can have those as well.

Ok. whether it was sarcasm or not here is the deal with self stimulation....

Masturbation is a self-centered practice that does not acknowledge that sexual gratification has been designed as an act to be shared within marriage.

Paul talks about burning with sexual desire(this includes masturbation). If you cannot control yourself then you should marry. Otherwise self control should be mastered and YES it can be done.

Hmmm perhaps you could make up a rite where you marry your hand or your fingers just for say... 20 minutes and then it wold be OK for you :D

We are talking on a biblical standpoint. Whether a person likes what the scripture says or not that is just how it is.

I am NOT trying t say you are too young to understand. I have seen you on here you are extremely intelligent and fun to interract it but at this point when it comes to sex LISTEN to the old people.

You are 15. I am 31, I know alot about the "s" word, and I know how we have urges and desires and how difficult it is to refran from certain urges. The bible does not encourage self stimulation. Sex was created for a man and woman TOGETHER.

There is more detail I could go on, but I am i the teen forum, and I really don't want to get more graphic.

1. masturbation is lust, lusting is against the Bible
''But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart'' -- Matthew 5:28
'' But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.' --' Ephesian 5:3
''Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.'' -- 1 Corinthian 6:18
''Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.'' -- Colossians 3:5
Masturbation = Lust ---> Lust = Sin ---> therefore ---> Masturbation = Sin
I am sure with regards to Masturbation someone will say something ''what if I think of nothing when I masturbate'' there are many answers to that...
''or the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.'' -- Galatians 5:17

So, no masturbation.
premarital sex is a sin
Anyone to argue otherwise is a fool.

You shouldn't curse
''Do not use foul or abusive language'' -- Ephesians 4:29
''But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth'' -- Colossians 3:8

You most certainly shouldn't curse.

Homosexuality is a sin
'' Or do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.'' -- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." -- Leviticus 20:13
''and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error'' -- Romans 1:27

Yes, Homosexuality is wrong.

loneliness sucks, I know. and depression, that sucks too.
Yes not good. Suffering for Christ is good though.
''Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.'' -- Acts 5:41
''If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.'' -- 1 Corinthians 15:19
''For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,'' -- Philippians 1:29
There is a lot more scripture on it, but I have already quoted a few.

Don't do drugs
If you look at the scripture I have already posted, I am sure you will find the answer which is... no. Although admittedly there is not much scripture with much relation to drugs so....
harmful drugs = NO
recreational drugs = probably not, if in doubt, don't do it

Jesus loves you
Amen, true that! :)

God Bless You All! xx
