Jas 1:13 Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one.
Jas 1:14 But each one is tempted by his lusts, being drawn away and seduced by them.
Jas 1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin. And sin, when it is fully formed, brings forth death.

Come out from the world, and its attractions, do not put yourselves in harms way but joining them in their short lived pleasures, we are called to guard out hearts at all cost, and putting yourself in these situations can cause you to fall and be a poor witness for Christ and purity, again your behavior matters to God, and He gives you a way of escape from all temptation, but you must have come to a saving faith through repentance and faith first, then these vain attractions will have no influence in your life.

Stand against the world and all it vain attractions, you wont be popular, but being a real Christian is far from being a popularity contest, as Jesus said you will be hated for His sake, BUT you must endure to the end to be saved!

Please know we are called to be separate from the world, and going to a club seems innocent to most of you, but God is calling His people out OF the world and its ways, you would be a better witness to your friends if you abstained from them, and told them why in a loving way.

Most professing Christians see no problems with imitating the world because the churches and youth groups are just the same, and are teaching a false gospel that your behavior has no bearing on your final salvation, so they resemble more of the world than the church of God.

1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
1Jn 2:16 because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

A Saint or an aint?

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Either you are one or the other, no such things as a sinning saint! A saint is walking in the present tense with Christ, being obedient, pure in heart and deed, and listening to His voice, then they follow Him on the narrow road. Luke 9-23. A real saint as described in the bible has crucified his flesh with Christ, Galatians 2-20, once and for all, hence I have been crucified, and thus they now walk in newness of life, 2 Corinthians 5-17. Cleansed and purified of all willful sin, through a real repentance and faith. 2 Corinthians 7-10-11. They must remain diligent and faithful to the truth, obey from the heart, and keep themselves undefiled from the world and its false ways! 1 John 2-15-17.

.
You wouldn't happen to be talking about the people who believe once saved always saved?Iam referring to when you mentioned that the reason why some people who say they are Christians but their behavior is similar to the world,is because they believe their behavior won't impact rather they will go to heaven or not.

Even David danced before the Lord.
@Tsalagi.That's not the same as dancing in the midst of evil doers(a club atmosphere),while listening to worldly music(music that doesn't glorify God).

So, no one should get any enjoyment out of life? That's sort of what it sounds like you're saying. David danced. Dancing has always been apart of human society. Even the animal kingdom by extension. It's just a way to have fun and interact with other people.

Dancing to provoke lust, such as "grinding" is a no-no.

Clubbing has too many problems. If you must seek entertainment, you are not fully enjoying God.

From the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

Q. 1. What is the chief end of man?

A. Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy him for ever.

[a]. Ps. 86:9; Isa. 60:21; Rom. 11:36; I Cor. 6:20; 10:31; Rev. 4:11
. Ps. 16:5-11; 144:15; Isa. 12:2; Luke 2:10; Phil. 4:4; Rev. 21:3-4

Enjoy God, not worldly passions.

Dancing unto the Lord, such as David did:

2 Samuel 6:14

David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the LORD with all his might,

... isn't the question of concern.

@Tsalagi.Any saved person who feel the need to dance, does have another option other than dancing to worldly music. It's called Gospel music,we can dance to music that glorify God,our creator.Once we become Born Again, the Holy spirit will convict our spirit when we think or do anything out of step to what God considers a sin,or not even a sin.Anything that God views as not being appropriate behavior.Since I became a BornAgain Christian, listening to worldly music grieves my spirit.I would think it would do the same to anyone who claims to be BornAgain/Saved.

clubbing is not a sin!
but you are going to a place surrounded by other sinners, non belivers, evil doers and atheist, criminals etc
is that were you want to be? want to be around those kind of people.

Clubbing is a place to drink, get one night stand or dance to music. Any other excuse people use are invalid, you don't go clubbing to drink soft drinks and chat to friends, you can do that at a party or house. People just attend club JUST to be around those kinds of people, and because everyone else are going clubbing.

Jesus also said something about not following the crowd and not doing what others are doing.
Sorry I can't remember the verses:/

You are in a club dancing to music..what kind of music are you dancing to? Devil owns this world and he has spread so much evil and hate all over the world including music.
All these R N B/Hip Hop are full of evil messages. Is that what you want to dance with!?
You should know about Illuminate and how they spread evil messages in all these famous artist songs.

When you attend University (UK)/College (US), there's nothing to do and students always get many free time. Now they allow the students to constantly go clubbing all the time, when they leave the place, they would still love to attend clubbing. Everything is done by Satan man.
Even what we learn about how the world was created.

Clubbing is not a sin, but if you want to stay close to Jesus...you better avoid it!
I've never step foot in a club or rave because Jesus lead me to the righteous path and now I know why and it makes sense.
[1]The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want [2]He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters [3]He restores my soul. he guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

I enjoy opera. It makes me feel very at peace. Because I'm a Christian, I can't enjoy opera? Logic fail. Music is there to enjoy it.

@Tsalagi.No,the logic didn't fail. But you are failing to understand or you're pretending to not understand as Born Again Christians(new creation in Jesus Christ)when it comes to music,we should get enjoyment out of music that glorify our creator God.You might want to ask God why you don't consider music that glorifies him to be enough enjoyment for you, when it comes to music. It makes complete sense for anyone that isn't a Born Again Christian,to enjoy listening to worldly music(music that doesn't glorify God)because they are in the dark(they aren't of God). But anyone that claims to be BornAgain/Saved,are in the light.Jesus is the light of the world. As Jesus follower's(BornAgain Christians)we are suppose to follow in Jesus foot steps.I hope you don't really believe that Jesus would condone people who claim to be his follower's(BornAgain Christians)listening and enjoying music that doesn't glorify the person that they consider to be their Lord and savior(Jesus Christ).I think I made myself clear to you and anyone else that read my comments,on were I stand on this topic.I thank God that my salvation isn't base on whether or not I can get people to agree with me.If it was a lot of sincere Born Again Christians would be on their way to hell. And when I say sincere Born Again Christians, iam referring to the Christians that life shows that they are following in Jesus foot steps and the Christians that life show the Holy spirit dwells in them. All of this back and forward with you, doesn't seem to be changing my opinion on this topic and it doesn't seem to be changing your opinion on this either. Therefore I will agree to disagree on this subject with you.

I do feel ultimately night club is not a healthy environment and it does induce violence and sexual immorality. The little bit of fun of actual dancing is kinda drowned by the bad influences that go with it at most places.
In saying that there are also some clubs that really want to concentrate on the positive side of clubbing, dancing and meeting and connecting with people and having some fun after a stressful week at work or study.
My decision to let my kids go, is in some way allowing them to understand the environment be it good or bad that other people experience from clubbing. Allowing them to judge and know the good and bad and to concur with me.
I had many opportunity of dancing during the boarding school years with school dances and also casual friday nights dancing with boarders in our tv room turn disco for friday nights. I had fun friendly gathering of dance parties during my holidays returning home to PNG during the school years.
I love dancing, that's why I have continue in line dancing with no distractions of the opposite sex, haha.
Ultimately when I was young I had no particular passion to go clubbing much. I think I had gone twice with big groups of friends. Found it too hard to have meaningful conversation and also drinks cost way too much. Not a profitable venture. Costly outing really.
I hope in no way should we be judgemental on people who goes clubbing now and then for some dance fun.

Ask yourself would Jesus do it? Can you see Jesus dancing with Milley, her with a big floam hand? Jesus doing hair flips?

Now to be fair. I don't see Jesus FAT, out of shape either, like ME!

Ask yourself why do I want to do this? If its for exercise? Put on some music and do it at home. Be honest its to attract the boys/young men. Its Lasciviousness and that is a sin. When you meet people in these clubs they are not themselves. It takes a few drinks to get there nerve up to dance, to talk to you. Not all, but some! They will make other advances also. Is that the kind of man you want, that does his talking threw a bottle? You deserve better.

I suppose that you should always be careful. My friends always ask me to go with them to a club/disco but I have always refused. Why? Because I don't feel like getting in a difficult situation where everybody around you is drunk and tries to touch you and kiss you and so on. Unfortunately I've got friends who the next day are very proud to say: " I have kissed 5 guys and one of them touched my bottom!" ...seriously? Plus I don't like very much dancing, but I do like music, even if it's loud. So I prefer to invite friends at my home to party so there is no danger :) of course when I refuse their invitations I know that they don't understand why I do that and they think I'm exaggerated and someone forbids me to go. But it is my choice and I know that in those places I will not find people who have many things in common with me!
