If you lean on God and ask Him to change you in the way He wants, there will come a time when temptations will no longer exist as God will have opened your eyes and changed your view of so many things. All you have to do is keep on praying and developing your relationship with Him. He will change you into His own perfection.
For now, resist all temptations with the Word of God and having good company.

That's the key, "the renewing of your mind". It definitely takes work, but there's a really good reminder in Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Keep up the fight, I know it can seem hopeless at times; generally when it looks the darkest, that's when the enemy is running scared, throwing the last he's got at you, so you know you're on top if you'll just keep it up.

JUST LOOK INTO THE MIRROR AND SEE WHAT YOU SEE, SIN ALWAYS MAKES ONE'S SOUL DARK. IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO STAY AWAY FROM IT THE NEXT TIME. IT ALSO MAKES YOU OLD INSIDE AND OLD OUTSIDE. JESUS RENEWS US WASHES AWAY ALL THINGS, MAKES US NEW INTO HIS IMAGE AND GLORIOUS LOVE. WHY EAT DOG FOOD AND LOOK LIKE SOMETHING DRAGED THROUGH THE ALLEY WHEN YOU CAN EAT AT THE KINGS TABLE AND SHINE. AMEN
