This is a great question!! I looooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeee my parents! My mom and I are so close, we share almost everything with each other. My dad is great but I can't really share much with him. He grew up in a strict family so he kind of stuck with it so he's not that flexible of a person to talk to. We kind of just stick to talk about school, and God! I have never yelled at my parents because from Nigeria (where i'm from) when I was still young, myy brother and I were spanked if we did anything wrong. I'm not scared of them but I grew up never yelling just because I was raised like that. I have lied though. I hardly do it now because whenever I lie, I feel VERY uncomfortable. Instead, I just tell them the truth and apologize. My friends and I were playing truth on thursday and my best friend asked me a question that if a guy that I like asks me to date him, would I say yes and not tell my parents or would I say no because my parents don't want me dating yet. That's a situation where I wouldn't know what to do.

I cant stand either one of my parents. I can tolerate my dad in small amounts, thats only because he doesnt talk, but when he does, thats when i leave. My mother raised me, and she was either drunk or high most of the time, we got along great then, but now thats shes sober, we dont at all. She doesnt like me and i dont like her. And im fine with this. My biological father i really like although i never see him. maybe thats why i like him so much.

I ahve an awosme relationship with both my parents. They both have there certain things that you can talk to them about. But I know they are always there for me, good or bad. ( hopefully not bad)
I open up to my mum more becasue my dad isnt like that, but I share a unique bond with my parents, that i do not see aroud my friends and their parents. Maybe its' because we share Gods love.
They give me strenght and guidence throught my days.
God Bless

To be honest I think my parents are hypocritical Christians. Sadly, we do not have a good relationship. I don't think there is "THE perfect parents" but some parents are better than other. I would say I'm lucky my parents don't abuse me or anything so they aren't too bad.

Yes I think everyone has or will at some point its kind of part of our sin nature.

I would say that I respect my parents a lot. I don't always agree, as most people won't but I still respect their decisions. At the time I might say I hate them for it, but as they are raising me in a christian home, and doing a great job, I can't complain. I do wish I could talk with my parents about stuff more. Like for instance, for the longest time my relatio nship with God was just a family one, I never actually had a personal relationship with God, and that really killed me. But now talking with my parents, we are finally opening up more about our persinal relationships with God, it is a nice change, but it is far from being good. I pray about it every day and each week I see improvements.

Sigh... it'd take too long to describe my parents.

My mom is at times absurd and argues about literally EVERYTHING, and my dad is extremely rude and hurtful sometimes. He made me cry several times before and he doesn't even care.

Parents rock. You should always listen to, and respect you parents even if it's hard to do so.....Now to get my boy to listen to that... hehe
