because your body is the temple of the lord and for the holy ghost to dwell in, you should treat you body clean

I have tattoos I have piercings, I see it more as vanity, maybe its a sin, but we all sin and I don't want to offend anyone because of them, but I like what I have, that's why I have them

I don't know what the point is in having a tattoo or piercing or make up. Peter pretty much taught against them. We do not adorn our bodies with braids or piercings, but our spirit with a quiet and gentle spirit and Godliness. Even those who speak against tattoos and piercings, what have you adorned your spirit with? You may have a clean outside, but do you have a pure heart and walk in the fruits of the Spirit? If not, you're no better than the people who called for the Lord's crucifixion. We gotta remember that before we push this as a command.

I won't ever get a tattoo or piercing, Lord keep me, but there are jewels and rings and clothes the Lord has for His bride that He expects me to wear. If we wear them, will we even want to decorate our flesh?

The key is moderation and modesty as Apostle Peter stated. We should place more focus on our inward life (our soul, which is of great value to God) than excessively decorating our physical bodies, besides the body is mortal but the soul lives forever.

I personally live by this, but I'm not going to judge someone because of their piercings or tattoos. My best friend has multiple of both.

personally i like tattoos and i have one i don't think there is anything wrong with them ( my opinion) . As long as i have the lord in my heart and go to church i think one scar is not a big deal

I have 5 in my ears. I've been thinking about getting others. I need a job first lol. I'd rather have it done professionally than try doing it myself and it end up crooked or some crap lol

only got my ears pierced.....rather say my parents did it when I was 1 year old.....it's our culture....and to be without it is really shameful in our culture....so couldn't help it

I have my ears and hips peirced. I also have 2 tattoos if it werent for the lack of money id have abunch more. I get them for me. Yeah they are pretty cuz others are going to see them. But if you dont like mine then oh well dont look its my body my life and all that jazz. Oh and I also have my smiley peirced (upper lip inside mouth.)

Surface. It was spur of the momebt and didnt have time for a dermal. When I get married in dec. Im getting a tatto ring as well as parker (fiance)
