I was going to say something similar. Judging God's response to makeup using human intuition makes as much sense as judging God's response to someone touching the Ark. At least nine out of ten people, I wager, think the death was probably not common sense, but that's precisely the point - human moral intuition is not the same as God's.

I didn't say I wasn't going to try, but our brains simply cannot come anywhere near comprehending him. To say otherwise would be ridculously stupid on your part. If you think you can understand God, you are only fooling yourself.

I'm pretty sure God could care less if we put on makeup, wear tattoos, or get our body pierced. really good point there! i pierced my ears over a year ago when i was in church but not really saved. then i got saved and took off my plugs because i went to this place where i wasnt allowed 2 wear them. ive been back home for about 5 months..and i couldnt help but put my plugs back on! lol. ppl have been debating on this issue 4ever! piercings, tattoos, surgery, women preaching, etc. honestly, i think god cares more about where our heart is at. not the exterior. but dont get me wrong. we must also be christian examples in our outer appearance. clean the inside and outside of ur cup. i dont really think tattoos are wrong..but i wouldnt get it cuz i think i would have some conviction. just a bit. lol. but main reason, is because some ppl do think is sin. and paul said that we should not do things that would cause our brothers/sisters 2 stumble. everyone has their own opinion. just love god man. God is Love. :D

i never wear earings though and i think tattos are stupid
you're marking you're body as if god didn't make it good enough so you have to adjust it wih your own marks :( not happy bout that

along w/ the subject i got a butterfly tattoo today; I would post a pic except its on my back and some people might think I'm being "immodest". :)

no i don't feel prettier I didn't get it to feel prettier; I got it because I've always liked a butterfly tattoo and it will look good in my bikini for a party i'm going to tonight. :D

Well, I guess it doesn't matter since you think its a sin anyway. :D
I feel there is nothing wrong with that I did the same thing with my belly button piercing, but it's all a matter of opinion.
