Both of my ears have two piercings each but I only wear tiny hoops anyway and Im planning on getting a wee tattoo sometime in the future. I do think multiple body piercings and way too many tattoos are a bit.. pushing it

I guess even if I wasn't a Christian I would have a hard time getting a tatoo.

It's going to be on there for life and as your skin stretches and you get older it will faid and look all nasty.

You might say well I put it were it don't show. Then whats the point.

If it was required to get a tatoo you would find ways to justify why you don't have to have one.

But since deep down you probably feel that it is wrong you find ways to justify why it is ok.

Its called rebellion.

Or maybe some people actually like tattoos? I don't think you can tell someone how they feel. :)

you think piercings and tattoos are ungodly? very interesting :)

yep - both ungodly
-firsty were u born with holes in ur ears and illistrations on ur body?
-no
-y?
-God obviously didnt want them there - if he wanted them there, their firstly would be a good example in the bible, and secondally he would have amde u born with them.

Your body is not you own

you dont own ur body

has God himself given you permishion to graffiet ur body or punch holes in it?
-no

therefore ungodly:)

That's a really bad point we weren't born with clothes yet we have them. We weren't born with make up, but most girls wear it. If you are talking about permanent things, how about surgeries that save people's lives? Its not ungodly , and its a matter of opinion whether you like them or not.

firstly-it is a good point

secondly-what a stupid mark about the clothes - seriously , did u read my post - i said their would be a good example in the bible - look at our examples - abrham and sarah, adam and eve, Jesus!
seriously - even unbelivers know its right to wear clothes.

Ur right we wernt born with makeup, i view them the same way as i view tattoos, peircings, dying hair..etc etc - not born with it, so God obviously didnt want us to have them. God gave a colour of skin, he chose the colour of my eyes and hair, the lengh of my eyelashes and the colour of my eyelids. God designed me to perfection, by wearing makeup, dying ur hair, having tattoos and peircings, u firstly r changhing the creation in which God has entrusted u with, and r bascially trying to do a better job than the lord god himself.

i am not talking about permentant things as u will see what i have written.

i do not feel it is a matter of opinion - it is ungodly in the eyes of God

how do you know those people didn't have tattoos or piercings? I know women back then did use a form of makeup. I'm pretty sure God could care less if we put on makeup, wear tattoos, or get our body pierced. I'm sure he has more stuff to worry about as long as it doesn't become an obsession that becomes more important than him

Oh yes, you are always right aren't you? So you think people who get tattoos and piercings and wear makeup are sinning?

wow, I'm pretty sure that's the stupidest thing I've seen you say. I'm sorry but it is true. I guess painting nails is a sin? Wearing contacts is a sin-- since we weren't born with them in our eyes God doesn't want us to be able to see.
