This thread is dedicated to all things gratitude. God is truly awesome and His ways are resplendent in humility, love, care, selflessness, loyalty, and welcomeness. Our Lord is deserving of our praise and His children are to share the goodness which He envelopes us with. He merits magnification.
List as few or as many thanksgivings as you so choose. If there has been a season or situation in your life where God extirpated you from danger or despondency, do share and glorify Him here. No thing is too small to recognize His graciousness unto you.

I'll get the spool rolling:

a) There was an epoch in my life where despair abounded and I was racing down a road I had no business on as a child of the Most High King. I dwelt on the grim, gloomy aspect of things and was gripped with fear. Praise be to God, He showed me that if I sought Him, He would intervene. He spoke to my heart and said, "Who are you to thwart the plan of God?" I cannot express my thankfulness for His abundant mercy.
"Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake His way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." ~ Isaiah 55:6-7

b) My grandmother's life was spared from heart valve replacement surgery gone awry. On the operating table her heart stopped. The surgeon then began to massage it with his hand until it proceeded to commence beating. This is a divine miracle of God and I am so very grateful that the Lord allowed her more years with us. Since her recovery we have made so many cherished memories cooking meals for the family, chatting, story telling, shopping, and getting into trouble in our honest attempt to balance her check book. :) I love her dearly and praise God that He granted her life once more.
"The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand." ~ Psalm 121:5

"Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness." ~ Psalm 150:1-2

thanks for starting this :)

I totally have so many of these :) I will start with just one

When I was 9 I got lost in the woods :( it was for an entire day and night and another day and night

I was terrified at first but over time calmed down and made good choices that saved my life :) one I prayed a lot and then things like shelter for sleep
I somehow remembered things and did things that saved me :)
looking back I know it was God who lead me
also my prayers were answered and I came upon fishermen :)

I know it was Christ who saved me

I will share more that's just my biggest one

You're welcome, Buckets. :) I have learned when you get upset, start praising God. The anger/sadness/despair will melt away because you are truly seeking God through honoring Him, and He will respond to that. He will fill us with His goodness and love as in the 23 Psalm.
