Listen y cant we say gay is ok abd move on
Just curious, why did you ask on here? Was it bothering you about it? We can't compromise with what we believe, but we can discuss the very understanding of it.

I wanna see where people stand on this
We stand on the Word of God. Our belief might not be the most popular stance in the world, but we take God to heart. Because Christianity is not about a religion, but about having a personal relationship with God. So whatever He says, it is, of course that's what we believe which you are entitled to your opinion.

Whether they be baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, etc. What does the bible say? They should be for God if they claim God. God didn't design humans to do that. Otherwise a male would be able to be pregnant, etc.

He also said, One love and one heart. We are called to love one another, but we are also called to do what's right. Sometimes what is right isn't always good feeling. And sometimes the "good" in life isn't always right. Is beating a homeless man good because it's the life you love? A lot of people actually believe that, a lot of people love to hurt people and abuse people, do they have that right?

Wrong its to find the most prosperous life u chose to live
Tell me, what will happen when that prosperous life comes to an end? What will happen after you spent your whole life making money, doing what you want, and being prosperous when death starts knocking on your door? The things that our flesh likes, will pass away like the flowers of the field. It will bloom for just a moment and then it will die.

Well nothing gold can stay
Rather than live the life you love, live the life that matters. You heard that saying, you only live once. Why waste such a gift on pleasures and things that don't make you fully happy? You have seen celebrities who have money and talent and looks, but are they happy? Do they live that prosperous life from the inside as much as on the outside? Some have plastic surgery, some get caught doing drugs, some are cheating on their spouses, and the list can go on. Why aren't they living content if they the live the life they love?

This is how I've looked at it.

Mind you, I may be wrong.

BEING
and DOING are two completely different things, no?

God loves the SINNER but hates the SIN, right?

So do you see where I am going with this?

The ACT of HOMOSEXUALITY, is wrong.

When you're asking if it's wrong to love, no, it's not BUT the Lord plainly states the act of laying with the same sex is wrong.

The reason why I say BEING and DOING are two completely different things is because people who don't agree with this or people who obviously have not read the bible always like to say, "oh, in the bible it says that being a homosexual is an abomination. So basically that means God hates homos."

No. Look here:

Leviticus 18:22 (NIV)

"Do no practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."

Leviticus 20:13 (NIV)

"If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."

Now, what that being said, when someone says, "oh, in the bible it says that being a homosexual is an abomination. So basically that means God hates homos," or when there are Christians out there disowning their children and what not or are telling people that God hates them because they ARE homosexual, obviously, parts of the bible would then contradict themselves, no?

For example:

Mark 12:31

"The second is equally important. 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."

God said everything as he said them for a reason. There were no mistakes. He mean't what he mean't. It's just the way that we interpret it that can get us in trouble.

Again, God loves the SINNER but hates the SIN.

So, yes, the act of homosexuality is wrong, but if you are homosexual, God still loves you.

All you have to do is ask for forgiveness and discontinue the act of homosexuality.

I hope that makes sense....

If I am wrong however or if someone finds something in what I said to be flawed, by all means, please correct me.
But then again God said He hates the"Workers of iniquitity" which means by that... he practically hates the sinner.

Because also thats the one whom he will throw in hell "Not the sin" But again God also loved the sinner to die for him so its rather mutual.. Just to clear this up

Why do you see the act as being wrong i think its a personal choice and why does a book seem to have the answer this why people ask this should a book just say its bad and go on with life but why should it matter if we have sex with a man thats y we should always
Live the life you love and love the life you live
Boy, there is fine line between the book and the word of God. The book itself is just pages. The words though are inspired by God himself... you can eat a pizza on the book or bible itself, but wont change the fact that it's still a book but with words itself inspired by the old man above.

A lot of people believe wealth is connected to happiness, when it is not. Isn't it better to go to the source of true happiness instead of trying to find it through another way?

If He died for the sinner, then how can He hate the sinner? Jesus said God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him won't perish but have eternal life.

I think love is true wealth and wealth as in money is pointless
See. Love is the greatest virtue God has ever given to mankind. But people abuse this word love, some people think that lust is love because it's such a strong feeling of sexual desire. That's what homosexuality is, we have quite a lot of ex-homosexuals on here who can tell you that it is wrong, that lust is connected to it. We have quite a bit of people who have change their lives. There is even one who admit they have a hard time changing but because they love God they are celibate fighting off the desire. You can learn a lot, there is some who post their life story of how they thought it was natural.
