I continue to ponder the question, "Why am I on this Earth?" and "What does God want me to do in his Kingdom?" I want to learn to hear the voice of God, I pray and ask for keener ears to him; to understand him, and to know the things he has planned for my life. How can I hear the voice of God?

Good questions, Amy; and we hear what God has to say to us urgently if we read His Word, the Bible.

His Word tells us Who He is: Holy, righteous, loving and merciful. It tells us who we are by nature: sinners in need of a Savior; and it tells us of the Father's love in sending His only begotten Son to die at the Cross instead of sinners. And if we trust in Him, we can know peace and hope for time and eternity.

So did you ever read carefully and think about John 3.16? It has been said that the verse contains the Gospel in a nutshell.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Well, I may be a bit too young to give my opinion but i think we have to wait for God's calling and try not to wander off the path to Christ while doing so (which I honestly have and not proud of) and stay strong. My reason to live when I'm in my right mind is to spread the Gospel because if we love our neighbours as ourselves, we would also want them to know the great love of God.
