God Bless you Danielle1234, talk to God, have a personal relationship with him, read the word and find people, groups and a good church!!! God Loves and forgives...He knows our hearts and were we are in our walk.

Matthew 11:28 - Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

James 4:8 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Bro, blaspheme or the Holy Ghost goes deeper then what we do with our tongue. So deep that it goes down to our hearts. To blaspheme the Holy Ghost is to die without Him in you and Jesus as your savior. There is only one way to get the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, that is through repentance and trusting alone in Jesus. You will be able to tell you are saved through you fruit (your work's). Jesus said "by their fruits, you will know them" and "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

But am I still forgiven and still have God with me even though it wasn't my OCD that made me think that? I corrected that blasphemy thought a couple minutes after I thought it, will God understand that I no longer believe what I thought and that I am so very sorry? I repented all day long on Sunday hoping God would hear me and forgive me. :(
I don't see how it is that you have committed a sin that needs to be forgiven, and even if you had God has already forgiven you. There is not a power in the universes that can separate you from the love of God.

Our thoughts, when they first enter our mind, are not sins. When a thought becomes sin is when we perpetuate it, entertain it. Or act on it even. That's how all temptation works. Being tempted isn't a sin, giving in to that temptation is a sin. Same with your thoughts, having a thought isn't a sin, allowing that thought to simmer in your mind and dwelling on it is when it can become a sin. Hope this helps ease your concern. Don't worry. Rejecting God is the unforgivable sin. Not random thoughts popping into our heads.
Perhaps if you have genuine OCD that's why you're having trouble getting over this issue and may need to approach it in that manner.

Danielle, I suggest you use this website for all of your questions about God: Bible Questions Answered

In particular, your question about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is fully explained here: What is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

It answered all of my questions 100% according to the Bible. God revealed to me His truths through this website. When I first came to Christ, I was just like you and very afraid and unsure of things that I did not understand or know about God, but as it is written "Seek and you shall find." Truly, God reveals the truth to those who earnestly and diligently seek Him, and by that truth you will know peace because it sets us free!

God bless you. I hope that God continues to work in you and transform you, I am sure that He will! As others have already said, your sincerity to know and find truth is a clear sign that you are one of God's people and that you are not an unbeliever. :D

I just went through something along the lines of what you are going through. God taught me a lot through it. He taught me how much He loves us and how we can't lean on our own understanding. It went on for about two months but its over now. Read this article and I think you will feel better than you ever have before.

For Christians, these posts kind of amaze me.

You do realize that the New Testament states that "nothing can separate you from the love of Christ Jesus"
and "if you confess your sin before God, He is faithful and just to forgive ALL unrighteousness"

Why then, if you believe in christian doctrine, would you ever be afraid of doing something God wouldn't forgive?

I blaspheme the holy spirit all the time in my "rebellion" of a magical deity. Yet I even know that if God is real, He hasn't left me and would still be willing to forgive me.

Anyway, the point is for all christians out there. There is no need to live out of fear.

"Disregarding the truth and claiming something holy as unworthy or unrighteous." isn't that what I did though? I thought and believed in my head that The Holy Spirit created the devil. Does still imply even though I do not believe what I thought anymore?
Think about this. The scribes and Pharisees claimed Jesus had a devil in Him. Jesus said they had come close to committing the unpardonable sin. They came close because the unpardonable sin is to be in the Full presence of God and deny Him. That's what Satan and his angels did, but the Pharisees didn't, because they didn't know that Jesus was God. In essence, their ignorance saved them that day. We cannot commit this sin until death, when our decisions in life are fully made and set. In death, who we are is defined by who we are before God, for in that moment, there is no turning, no hiding, no changing who we are. In that moment we condemn ourselves or are released fully and totally from the person we do not wish to be. In that moment we are either purged of iniquity or are condemned to the eternal death.
