Well, like I suggested, if you can find a way to include subjects such as rock music or earrings etc in your conversation repertoire, you might find that your circle of peers with whom you meaningfully communicate will widen. Particularly in face to face conversations, often it's a case of gaining the confidence of people of one's own age-group. It's often easier to talk to people face to face if you have their confidence.

Blessings.
Lol never met anyone talk about rock music and earrings lol, but I know what you mean.

Thanks :)

PS: Spokenpassage: there are all sorts of subjects; the idea is to relate to someone at a human level on a subject which they can easily and be likely willing to talk, and not always about what to them might seem hugely abstract esoterica. (I'm actually very much in favor of seeking to have deeper, doctrinal discussions from the Scriptures, since we live in a superficial age which desperately needs truth and wisdom from God's Word.) But if you can talk to people - especially of your own age group - confidently about other subjects with which they can maybe readily relate to - whether buying and maintaining automobiles, or quitting smoking, or tattoos, or whatever - then you can much more easily gain their ongoing confidence rather than if the subject is usually rather abstract and - to them at least - obscure.

(Just a nudge from an old 'un. :) )

Blessings.

Brother are we talking about Christian friends or just friends? I got friends, what I mean was it would be nice to talk to some teens who love God. Some of the friends I hang out with the most are not Christian, which makes it difficult.

Both, I guess.

Young people are quite similar, really.

Some are Christian, many are definitely not, but even Christians don't all have the evident academic abilities that you yourself have; you yourself seem to thrive in abstract, doctrinal thinking which is excellent in many ways; but it's also good to be able to relate naturally in conversation to people of one's own age group along subjects of widespread interest.

If I had my time again I would probably try harder to do with my own age group what I've suggested you consider doing.

Obviously you would want to retain your own sense of personal sanctification.

Blessings.
