I read that believing in Jesus isn't enough to get you saved. How can I completely trust in Jesus and surrender myself to Him?

It starts when you just obey Him, and desiring what He wants. Letting go of your past habits and starting to let Him change and occupy your Life. Little by little. I remember I started to surrendering my mouth to Him, I stopped cursing people until then I gave my all

If you trully believe Jesus is God you will trust Him. The same with humans- you dont go somewhere with a person you dont trust, right?

Thank you for the answer. :) so surrendering is kind if like turning away from the sins that you can control? Such as cursing and sex before marriage and doing sins on purpose?

[h=3]Ephesians 2:8-9[/h]New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved,through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

However,

James 2:26
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

you can read the whole passage
James 2:14-26 - Faith and Deeds - What good is it, my - Bible Gateway

[h=3]Galatians 5:22-23[/h]New Living Translation (NLT)

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

is not of our works that we are saved,however just faith alone without works is dead.
and Jesus said, if you love me Him you will obey His commands. :)
i am sure you can do that! ask His guidance
