I'm having trouble trusting in Jesus and God mostly because I don't exactly know what to trust them with. I know I can trust Them with anything but for example if I don't study for a test can I trust in Jesus to help me guess the answers correctly? That's why I'm confused because I feel like some things I need to put effort in too. Idk I'm really confused. What are some scenarios where you trusted in Jesus? And what are some examples when I can trust in Jesus and completely rely on Him? (I trust in Jesus to keep me and my family safe when driving and trust in Him that no one burglarizes my home and that everything will be okay at the end if the day but I feel like there is more to trust with Him)

Trusting him for your safety is good. I do that as well while driving. You got to trust his will for your life. Example. Awhile ago we got a sudden eviction notice. Had 3 days to get out and no where to go. A previous land lord said we could move back into his rental. Things werent great the first time we lived there though. Sometimes when god speaks it like what people call a gut feeling. He told me not to move in there. Even though me and my family were about to be homeless i trusted god and passed on the the house. He opened a door to stay with a family friend till we bought or own acreage. Trusting god starts with the little things. Trusting god is faith. Faith that he knows whats best for you and faith that no matter what your situation looks like knowing that god knows you better than you know yourself and he wants the best for you. Its not always easy but what reward would you have if everything was easy. Ive got alot more examples for my life but its a personal relationship with him. Trust him like you trust your earthly father. You know your dad has your back and wouldnt steer you wrong. God wants that childlike faith from us. Be in constant conversation with god. Draw near to him and as you start to know him you will find your faith and trust in him will grow too. Its also about believing his word. It the promises of god through his written word. Example: by his stripes you are healed. Not could be or will be but you are. Its been accomplished. Believe it and recieve it. We all struggle with unbelief to some degree. Hope this helps you. Feel free to add me and chat anytime.

Trusting God is less about 'i'm sure God won't let this bad thing happen', though there may be times when that Is the case, but it's more about trusting God to help us when the troubles come.
If you read in the bible, you will see many people, OT and NT, that suffered, often for the sole reason that they followed God.
So, i suppose you could say, it's less about trusting God to prevent bad things, and more about trusting in Him to get you through the bad times, and in such a way that some form of good comes from it. Because we live in an evil, fallen world. And like it or not, we are subject to the sins, not only our own, but the sins and actions of others. We are subject to our own consequences, such as not studying for a test. You reap what you sow, as the bible says. When you don't study, you don't get a good grade. This is a Natural consequence.
But keep in mind, when we get consequences, we have the choice to be mad at God for letting us fail when we didn't study, or we can learn from our consequence and realize that it was OUR fault, not Gods, and learn that we need to study. Studying is just one example, this applies to life in general.
The bible is full of martyrs, people who went to prison, slavery and other such things. These were Gods followers. But God sustained them all.
You can also trust God in other ways as well, such as when you put your trust in Him to save you.
Just keep in mind, Gods goal in our lives is not to prevent bad, but to cause us to grow as people, as Christian and in our relationships with Him. It's not all about 'us' but it's all about 'Him'. You don't hear that taught a lot anymore, as so much modern Christian teaching sounds more like self help and having it all about you. The bible teaches to have a giving heart, to be a servant by choice, it does not teach that our happiness is the goal in life, but rather our growth is the goal.

Is funny to me when we go into something alone....and after its done we ask God to fix it for us.....I think its better if you
pray first then proceed..this way we have God already there preparing the way....or keeping us from the bad....
To answer your question....yes I have trusted Him for alot of things...and yes He came through each and everytime...
One example of the too many to count is.....I had no job I was separated from my family...I believed for a job...and when
I went in for a interview....there was a prayer group there studing the Word....I sat down in full peace...thank God for bringing me
there...I started working the next day....I needed more money ...so within a couple of weeks I was moved to management....
less than a year later I was moving with a transfer to were my family was and my new job was down the street from them...
We are all back together once more...it happened so fast....had to be God.....I can tell you many more ....so have a heart and alittle more faith
and you too will be able to recognize when He takes over...alot of times we miss His blessings because we think we were lucky...haha
No such thing as luck.......Its all God ....

Excellent response. Happiness is a destination, growth is part of the journey.
