In my family, right now I am the only one who really cares about my dogs and I am probably going to have to give up my dogs and I just feel terrible in the worst way. I love them so much and if any of you understand how I feel please give words of encouragement or prayers or verses that would just make me feel better I would appreciate it.

Hello godgirly. hope you are well. Sometimes we all have to lose that special thing that's close to our hearts, whether it be pets, or prized possesions, or that gift given. But God sees your heart for these dogs, and yes he is concerned about the upset of your heart for them. But you know what? focus on God and think of the rewards in heaven, were you will never lose for any reason. Because God has given you them personally.

I'm not saying to forget about your dogs you love dearly, But keep your memories safe in your heart, then they are not so far for you to look up. But search for a good home for them, if you do have to get rid of them, many people will not go that length to find a good home. they just give there animals to who ever wants them. But find out a little of the people's background, are they good pet owners? are they real pet lovers and know that they will be loved? and perhaps find a person close by who will take them in. that way you not to far to visit, that way you not suddenly eliminating your face and presence from the dogs so quickly.

It will be hard I know, but Pray that God will fill your heart with love. to over take any bad feelings you have of having to lose your dogs. God bless

I'm so sorry to hear this :( I know not too many people understand how much pet owners love their pets. The thing that hits me is how the dogs themselves don't even know what lies ahead. It's a shame that such innocent creatures have to go through such hardships, but it happens all too often and it's out of our control.

I don't think the kind of immediate relief you're looking for exists. But at least it's not like they passed away tragically; you know that somewhere, they'll still be out there alive and well. The situation is comparable to losing a family member, or when a friend moves away. It sucks. It reaaally sucks. Many before you have felt the same hardship, and they'll all tell you that it eases with time.

I imagine that you will have many more pets in the future, when you're able to support them yourself. Use this as practice to learn what it feels like to lose a loved pet for when the time inevitably comes again, with God's help, of course. I like to think that pets always remember their owners for the rest of their lives. The time God granted you to spend with them did not go wasted, I assure you, especially in their eyes.

He Godgirly, Feel so sorry for you! Maybe you can give a try and talk to your parents (again)? I will pray for you!
