I know a lot of Catholics who sin but only apologize to the person they sinned against and not apologize to God. They still love God but still sin. Sometimes they don't know they have sinned and other times they do. Will God's mercy be enough for them to get into Heaven?

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Well of course God can still forgive them...may I ask if they have ever repented? Do they believe the bible is true? Do they believe Jesus is Son of God and died for their sins?

All of those things would qualify someone as a christian, thus making them forgiven and going to heaven.

Yes they do believe in all that but they repent or pray all really but they know God and Jesus are real and that our passed loved ones are in Heaven.

The honest answer is "I dont know"

The bible would consider them unrepentant believers...read book of james for clarification on bible's stance on faith without works
