Default Does anyone have any suggestions for a devotional journal?

Ok, so some days if I for some reason am having a hard time on where to read in the bible, I like to use a devotional journal. I had just finished my one journal and am in need for a new one! However, most devotionals I pick up are like "3 minute devotions" or something like that. I don't want to spend 3 minutes on a devotion! I want one that will give me something that I can turn into something more, are you getting me? Like, I don't want to spend three minutes hearing your basic "God is always with you" - I want something that I can read and pray and look up in my bible and write things down in my journal for like 30+ minutes! Any help with one? Maybe one you have used that was good? Thank you all for your suggestions!

Have you ever heard of Big Daddy Weave? I just recently got his "redeemed" devotional. Its hard to spend more than 10 minutes on but you can with praying and talking with God. It's a really great devotional. It has a prayer every day and several bible verses a day along with a lesson and a page to write your own thoughts. I hope this helps and God Bless!! c:

I'll look into it. I know that one devotional cannot be a whole book, but I like a lesson that I can spend more time on outside of the devotional. Are you feeling me? I got this one devotional recently and I just don't like it. It's the same thing rewritten in a different way everyday! lol thank you!!!

Your welcome! This devotional deals with a different thing every day but the main point as a whole is about forgiveness so i guess its for people who need forgiveness and have other things to deal with. Good luck finding a great devotional. God Bless.

Have to be pretty careful with Meyers. She has some off things.
    Give me a new voice
Give me a heart for repentance and make it stay

    It's all my fault
    But it's comfortable

Go to guideposts.org. They have several free e-books, and if you give your email address, they send a daily devotional to your email every day. That's what I do.

Romans 8:31- What shall we say to these things? If God before us, who can be against us?

Thanks you guys, sorry it took me a while to reply, I was camping this weekend with my church! I'll look into all of these, and I'll have to check the reviews on the Joyce Meyers one, because sometimes she is a little off!

Yeah I hear you it's nice to have brain teasers, instead of devotionals I wrote a composition on memory teachings because I so hoped I could be a christian children church teacher that I started writing down titles of particularly people in the bible and it was fascinating and took awhile but pretty fun too,and it helped me learn more and remember more,it didn't work out me being a teacher because my church is where my family goes and so naturally they already had children teachers, even an assisstant teacher, but I still keep it for reference because after all I went through the trouble of not only writing down multiple titles of people but I also went through and read the entire bible once, which was not easy,so just was suggesting maybe you can make a challenge for yourself by writing a composition or devotional in your own unique way instead of looking for them, banana tanner,!
