You're probably not going to get the wisdom and advice from a teen your own age on this subject sorry to say. There are many older Christians who still struggle with this but a good verse is Ephesians 2:8 Also, get the book by Tullian Tchividjian called "Jesus + Nothing = Everything"

I could try to help you, but in order to help, I would need to know how you believe on "Once Saved, Always Saved"
Meaning you are saved once and do not go to heaven by proving yourself, but rather receiving Jesus. And once you are saved, you are always saved.
Do you believe in that?

I'm sorry, but there are not good people. We are all sinners and undeserving of Heaven, but that's the beauty of God. That although we don't deserve his love, it is poured upon us anyway. But in order to go to Heaven, we need to pick up our cross and follow him daily. It isn't enough to say a one time prayer for repentance. So yes, there is always that chance you could go to Hell, but there is always a chance that if you love God with all of your heart, and remain loyal to him all of the days of your life and give your life to him, that you could make it to Heaven.

If I could give you one word of advice that helped me when I first became saved, it would be something my youth pastor had taught me. He had someone stand up on a chair and they were trying to lift my pastor off of the ground and onto the chair. It couldn't be done. But, when my pastor tried to pull the man off the chair, it was so simple. That is because it easier for people to pull you down than for you to pull them up. Now that is not meant to discourage you into never trying to lead someone to Christ, but I think it speaks a lot about who you should surround yourself with. If you have friends bringing you down, distance yourself. Because birds of a feather, flock together.

If you need anyone to talk to, I am here! Don't be shy.

Sasa, the Gospel is reportedly called "good news". Just using the basic logic God has given us, is it good news if it leaves you with a nightmarish, anxiety filled, panic attacked questioning if you're secure in His grasp? No. The good news is that your salvation is not based on your performance. Think about it. What do any of us, even old seasoned Christians bring to God's table? The answer is sin. 1 John 3:5 "...that He might TAKE AWAY our sins." You have no sin in the Father's eyes. More Good news!!! Martin Luther said that we are "justified sinners". Justified because of Christ' finished work on the cross, but sinners because we still live in these sinful bodies in a sinful world. You won't be perfect until you're glorified in heaven. The enemy wants to lead you to despair and can use well meaning christians as they incorrectly handle the word of truth. That's bad news :( Just rest and realize that when you go before The Father, you'll be draped on the back of Jesus. It's all on His shoulders. Yes there will be fruit in your life as you begin to serve others spontaneously, but fruit never grows by it's own power. It always derives it's nutrients from the tree. You've been grafted in. If you've said yes to Jesus you're in!!! Keep preaching to yourself the gospel of good news each and every day and trust God to work the fruit of the Spirit in you. It's called the fruit of the Spirit, He's doing it in you....more good news :)

Simple: Love God with all your mind, soul, heart and strength and love your neighbor as yourself.

One forgets that we are ALL saved by grace. So, if you've accepted Christ in your life and heart as Lord and Savior, repented (turned from) the sins of your past, and are seeking His face (living your life to honor Him), do not fear hell. No one is perfect and no one on this earth can live sinless. Only Christ is, could and did. Don't stress out. This is why many believe the Christian life is 'too hard'. They believe it is rules. In truth, it is relationship.

When you love Christ, the things of this world will slowly lose their appeal. When you love someone, don't you seek them constantly, think of them, do things with them, talk about and to them, and just want to be with them? So it is when you fall in love with Christ. Then, you will seek His face steadily and read His word and pray and worship and attend church and begin to see that sin has nothing for you.

You will make mistakes, fall, fail, but His love never leaves or fades. The important thing is to be sensitive to Christ, read God's word, and respond when Christ is correcting sin and compromise in your life. :)

sasa, congrats on being saved. :) You are now a child of God, and NOTHING you do can ever change that!! Jesus loves you more than you could ever imagine. Everyone wavers in their faith. I feel like my faith sometimes is'nt strong enough either, but Jesus said if you only have faith the size of a mustard seed (which is very small!), then you can say to a mountain, "Move!" and it will move. :) That means with faith you can do anything, because you have Jesus. As long as you obey God's commands, and repent of any sins you commit, and ask for forgiveness, then there is no chance of you going to hell, because your name is in his Book of Life, and it can never be erased!! You're welcome to message me anytime. :)

If you truely believe tht christ is saviour an you truely have sorrow for your sins and believe you can only be saved by him then you will go to heaven. Good fruits (Good works) will only show that you are truely saved as the spirit now dwells in you and he is teaching you how to live like Jesus. You may stumble and fall but remember that Christ has forgiven ALL yours sins and that as long as you truely are trying to follow him its ok. Someone that says they are saved and continues to go around murdering is obviously not truely saved as if he were saved he would try not to murder and if he/she does she would have great sorrow and would know in his heart that he faulted and would turn to the Lord for help and forgiveness. Wether you can become unsaved by stopping to belive is a whole different discussion and I have no answer for.
But follow Jesus and believe and you will be saved, so if you mess up dont fret that God wont let you to heaven for it as we are humans and weare not perfect. As long as your heart is in the right place you are fine.

Hey sasa
How are you doing? I read your post and thought you might find some relievement:
First off there is no such thing as a "good person" everyone is evil! You are evil, I am evil, we aaaaall are evil sinners.
But through gods only begotten son, we are forgiven EVERY sin, every single one and do not have to "prove" were good christians to god or to anybody. But because jesus forgave us we are to follow his example. A true christian you will recognise by his fruit! look around who do you see in your life who does things for others out of love?
And I bet their will be people in Hell who followed ALL of the ten commandments and people in Heaven who disregarded all of them (it sounds kind of unfair doesn't it)
But alot of "good people" have this adittude of "your a bad person and need gods forgiveness, But I'm a good person and proud to be a good person, I'm proud that I sin way less then that other person over there" Jesus talked to some rich kid about this (but i'm not good at memorizing bible verses, lol)
Anyway, my point being: You could follow ever single law written in the bible, but if you have not accepted gods loving forgiveness you are still lost. Do good deeds, not through pride or self-righteousness or because you feel obligated or guilty, but through love and the spirit. Then there is NO chance you could ever go to hell.

God Bless

From a fellow God-loving teen, a piece of advice:

When in doubt, pray and read His Word.

Scriptures are the one true answer in this corrupt world my friend.

Ephesians 2:8 KJV
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

This verse says that by trusting in God and accepting Jesus' salvation (as discussed in the "Romans Road" in Romans), that is an act of ultimate faith. The Bible (GOD) says that by being saved by Jesus, you're saved for good. Ephesians 2:8 is saying you do NOT and will NEVER get to Heaven because you were a good person. It will be because of Jesus' salvation covering your sin.

And one last verse, :)

John 10:28 KJV
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

This is saying that since you are saved, you will NEVER EVER EVERRRRR have even the slightest chance of going to Hell, or losing your salvation.

You will always be saved. :)

Now I say you should find a good church, become a part of the youth group, and study your Bible. Jesus loves you, and He wants you to grow as a Christian. I hope you will message me or contact me somehow if you ever have any questions or worries. :)

*I will be praying for you*

Your friend, and a fellow teen,
Moose

Sorry Sasa for that.
Let me pray now.
But I'd like you to have peace in your mind.
I may not express it well here, but try not to put much emphasis on hell with all that goes with it, but on Christ, His saving Grace, Love and Power as well as His promises for you.

It has seemed to me that you might have put emphasis on any implications of not getting saved(accepting Christ) and hell in particular; therefore whatever got into your mind eventually got caught up there, since you might have memorized it.

Otherwise, you need to let it go and know how free you are in Christ. Know how ''He who is in you is greater than he(devil) who dwells in the world''. And even how great you are towards any kind of evil; recall this, you were not only given power, but authority too.....over any evil powers and principalities!
You are(a church) built on a rock, against which the gates of hell shall not prevail.

Romans 8:1..... With this, your faith will and can grow.

Stay blessed, encouraged and safe!

The original words used in the bible that have been translated as hell are (old testament) Sheol which means grave. (New testament) Hades which means basically the same thing as Sheol and can also be translated as hidden place. And there's Tartarus which is mentioned once in 2 Peter 2:4 and is described as a dark gloomy place where angels that have sinned are held until judgement. And there's Gehenna (also known as the Valley of Hinnom) which is an actual place you can still visit today. Jesus used the word Gehenna because the Jews knew exactly what He was talking about and it held a significantly bad place in their history. I suggest looking this stuff up for yourself.

So with that, you could say we're all going to hell (sheol/hades). :)
