    Default Hey Everyone

I am needing some help. I have recently lost one of the best friendships I have had in my life. I recently broke up with my boyfriend because of things that he was doing and was trying to get me to do. My best friend or who I thought was my best friend became rude and started saying all these things to me and just was not very comforting. I thought that she was going to be there for me through everything but she wasn't. I have a lot of faith in God and I know that God was telling me to just let those two people go and to trust him and not let those people take over my life. I have had break downs because me and my best friend went through a lot and we would always hang out and then one thing that I did that I thought was bad to put in my life ruined it. I know God was with me because he told me that I needed to get rid of the things in my life that I didn't need. I trust in him 100%. I am lost and don't know what I should do. Please help any advice would be appreciated. I hate having these breakdowns and not being able to know what to do. God bless you all.

First of all, hey Mysty and welcome to CC!!

Now, I am so so sorry about both of your losses. I know exactly how you feel when it comes to losing a best friend. I had the same situation with my best friend, and it hurt so bad to let her go. This was a few months ago and I still feel like a part of me is gone. But just give it all to God! Right now, he is my everything, my best friend included. I talk to him just as I would a friend. Use this season in your life to strengthen your relationship even further. That's really the best thing you can do. Before you know it, it will be a new season! The pain is only temporary. I am sorry that I didn't have this huge grand advice, but I wish you the best hun. XO!!

    Hi, Mysty!

All I can say is I am very sorry and that I know how you are feeling right now. Last night, my best friend cut off our friendship.

((hugs)) It is going to get better. Just because there is a bump in the road does not mean its a dead end. I know right now you are hurting and are confused, but sometimes we just have to accept that people change or are not who we thought they were. It is the cruel fact of life. However, when things like this happen, it reminds that Jesus is honestly our true friend. He values us and would never treat us unfairly. It is encouraging to know that even when a friend turns their back on us, Jesus still stands by our side. My best advice would be to pray and ask Jesus for comfort whenever you feel sad. Reside in Jesus for the things that you lack. I know that it is not easy to cope with the loss of friendship, I am having to deal with it right now. But, it will get better, I do know that.

This is the problems when we put too much trust in other people. Everyone will fail you. Period. Every human being. Some worse than others. People are unpredictable creatures. I once knew a pastors wife, middle aged, who had been the 'model pastors wife' change from that to sleeping around with various guys she met on the internet. She changed. She couldn't even explain it. Unfortunately this is the nature of humanity, and thus all relationships with people. It sucks when it happens, as i've had it happen plenty of times to me. And i'm sure i've done it to others, unknowingly. Keeping this in mind can sometimes help us when it happens.

Give me a heart for repentance and make it stay
    Cause I've idolized my words
    It's all my fault
    But it's comfortable

    Hey mysty!

Ive been through a similar situation myself and know how hard it can be, the best advice I can give is use this time to keep on growing in god and to get involved with the church more and try make some good christian friends who won't treat you like these people have.

Also in regards to finding the right guy for you, don't go running into a relationship to fast but wait and choose a guy that not only tells you his a devout christian but lives his life for Jesus through his actions.

    Hello I'm Eldon. :-)
I'm so sorry about your struggle. I know exactly how you feel. I had a so called best friend who did exactly what you described. Its a sad and painful struggle. And I know how you feel. Trust in God and he will give you what makes you happy. If he doesn't, it's for the best :-).

yeah friendship is tough but true friends stick around and are supportive not mean or vulgar,God helps plenty of people to find out who their true friends are,so though you may have lost two quote "friends" you can now find new true friends that will care for you and you for them, and if not you always have 3 friends that will never leave you,God,Jesus, and the holy spirit, hope you find new friends,God willing!!!
