i was thinking about this the other day and I confused myself; I know that as believers God must be the one to bring the man and the woman together but what about people who don't believe in God or that don't believe in Jesus. does their marriage not count? I mean, for example, Jesus was jewish, but do their marriages not count because they don't believe in Jesus? (I am talking about non-believer jews). I am sorry if my question is weird, it's just interesting.

We should not marry non-believers, as we would be unequally yoked. But two non-believers would be equally yoked in that sense. I think what you're asking is, if people don't get married before God is it still a legit marriage. I think it is a real marriage that counts. But I wouldn't let them marry in my church.
