Anybody else ever feel like all they can do is cry and wait on the Lord? I pray and cry for those who are suffering around me. I pray and cry for my own suffering. I cry about the suffering that Christ went through. I cry about the ways many of the prophets were killed, hurt and rejected.
I just want all the suffering to end. It makes me so sad. And then I start to cry.
Do you believe it is true that some times all we can do is lament until He returns in His Glory?

sometimes i wished that He will come soon so that fellow believers will be with Him soon. But then again those who aren't safe is left behind it is another sad thing. So when lamenting I also think about God's grace that He still wants a lot of people to turn back to Him before He comes again.

MH, crying does no good for any of us. For myself anyway, it only serves to make me feel more miserable. Some say that crying is fear and/or weakness leaving the body. I have no idea if that's true or not. Don't cry over the suffering that Jesus and the prophets suffered. Wonder instead at how Jesus suffering saved us all from being forever lost in our own sin with no way out except for him. :) I don't think we should lament at all. Being mournful won't accomplish the work he has set forth for us. Being joyful and positive will. :)

I know how you feel, the world is in such a mess - so much hatred and suffering and I would so LOVE for the Lord Jesus to return but for now my family are unsaved so I do not welcome His return just yet.

You have a good heart, a sensitive heart - use it in a way that glorifies God.

"all true passion is born out of anguish. You search the scripture and you find that when God determined to recover a ruined situation, He would share His own anguish for what God saw happening to His church and to His people, and He would find a praying man and literally baptize him in anguish."- David Wilkerson.

I am going with your flow. It seems that I have already used my allotment of tears for my lifetime. Perhaps it is time to rejoice and be glad.

Tears are healthy, there are many studies that have been done that prove the healing qualities of tears. A tear is the physical manifestation of the bodies inability to contain over flowing emotions.

How crying can make you healthier - Features - Health & Families - The Independent

Here we have sorrow filling Paul's heart for those who aren't grasping the truth that is in Christ.

Romans
9 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

Psalm 126
[SUP]5 [/SUP]They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Ecclesiastes 7
[SUP]2 [/SUP]It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

Brother, do whatever it is that God puts in your heart. If you feel God's anguish over the ruin, over the lost and you need to cry, then cry..
