Hi Naomi!
Welcome to CC. There are a number of Aussies here, I'm just not sure what that number is. ;)
And yes, most of us are singles. I hope and pray that you enjoy your time here engaging in fun and fellowship with other believers.
God bless, mate.

Hi Mia - ty - Its cold now but I live in the hills so the bush is green. The nights have been clear so u can see the stars well with the moon n Saturn n Jupiter. On our balcony dad has a telescope so we sit outside n freeze and talk about the universe. Theres not as many kangaroos around at the moment - I don't know where they go when its cold but its funny to watch them clean their face with the dew.

I think you picked a good choice of Japan. I like the food and the people seem kind. I hope you have a good time there, learn lots and just enjoy each day.
Hugs
Zoii

Up in the hills in kalamunda is a nice spot :) sounds gorgeous! do miss seeing the stars, don't see much around here.
Aw, that's cute kangaroos hoping around. That's awesome! :)

Cool! Was it not ago you visited Tokyo?

Thanks Zoii, slowly feeling less like a tourist.. but still miss back home in Australia. :)

Hugs,

Mia

I'm not an Aussie, but I would LOVE to visit Australia! Do you have any recommendations on what part of Australia that I should visit? :)

Hi Mia.

I live in the Adelaide suburbs. Yes, I've been to Western Australia, but that was quite some time ago. I remember loving everything about it, except the loooooooooong drive to get there. My family and I travelled from Adelaide, along the coast, all the way up to Monkey Mia. I remember Perth being a beautiful city. It's a huge state though. I wouldn't say it's forgotten, but Perth is far from every other capital city in Australia. I guess that can be both good and bad.

I've been to Japan on a mission trip. It was a great opportunity. There's lots to love about the food and culture, but I prefer the wide, open spaces and the smaller population of Australia. Also, Adelaide isn't as humid as Japan.
God bless, mate.

yay, another W.A.
I'm surprised. I think I've seen a couple South Aussies on here and a few Western Aussies, but most seem to be from the eastern states. No surprise there. Haha!

And I'm a geriatric banana-bender from the Sunshine State
('Queensland' for those poor folk unfortunate enough not to be here in Aus).

The User Name "Pumicestone" is because I live in the World Heritage Marine Park called Pumicestone Passage - just north of Brisbane.
Some have thought the name was because I am 'abrasive'. :D

PS .... Whoops, crossed posts there, Naomi
