Does anyone else have this, or has anyone had it before? And how did you deal with it spiritually? Right now it's really debilitating for me - I'm only 33, but I have very bad sciatica right now. I didn't know where else to post this. I'm praying about it, and I'm not just asking for prayers from random strangers, or I'd have posted in the prayer request area. Just wondering what one needs to do as far as their relationship with Christ in regards to this. Ask for forgiveness, just have faith that he heals? Thanks.

I have a disease little known to most it is called reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) it is the sister disease to MS..... it is the most painful chronic pain there is, there is no disease (chronically) that is more painful...... it registers at a 42 on the Mcgill pain index (sorry if I spelled wrong there)

in the beginning I prayed for healing, but sometimes it is not the will of God for you to be well and then I learned how to live with the pain... it took a long time to learn how to deal with it, at first I wished for death and even heavily considered suicide as I could not imagine living the rest of my life in so much pain...... but all praise be to God I learned how to live a happy and fruitful life and live as does everyone else.... I manage my pain and am quite happy........I find I have a daily reminder of God and I also give thanks for this reminder.... it keeps me living rightly and staying away from sin..... there is blessing in all things even in the worst of pain.....

just live in God and for God and make all you do be of Gods will....... if it is the will of God you will be healed.... but submit to Gods will no matter what the answer is is what I am trying to say.......

take care and I will pray for you

Thanks for replying to my post, I guess I have to pray about this. It's great that you learned to live with it, and still have a happy life. I just want to return to work, but don't know when I can. Everything is difficult right now, not knowing what's going to happen. I will probably get treatments, and I hope they help. Thanks for your prayers.
