I am looking for a spiritual mentor in my life that can train me in the ways of the Lord, pray with and for me, help build my beliefs up and be based from the Bible. One that can be there when I need somebody to talk to, please pm me if you are interested or you feel God calling you to to train and equip me.

My recommendation is to start reading the Bible. Start with the book of John in the Bible and at least read a chapter a day. It doesn't take a long time to read a chapter and I make it short because I don't want it to be a burden or to make anyone feel like it is a burden. Then once you are done reading John, you can start with another one of the gospels (Matthew, Mark or Luke) and then you can start reading the Epistles like Romans, etc.

The important thing is to know your Bible. Who is God? Read John 1:1 to the end of the chapter. This is who God is.

I have grown up in church all my life, but just accepted Christ last night. I know the Word of God!! But, I don't understand the Word of God!! I have several questions concerning different topics of the Bible. I have read John and most the books countless times. Then, I have some hurting personal problems that I feel are holding me back from experiencing the real presence of God!!
