Heey everyone.
I am about to be baptized (at 20) in a Full Evangelical Church.
This Church only baptises adults, because they believe it's a very serious dessicion, and also because Jesus Christ Himself was baptized at 30.

Now what I've noticed, and heard from other people who were recently baptized,is the huge struggle right before, where the evil one will go full out to stop the baptism....
In my case:

*Some close friends got really angry with me over this.
*My mind is very clowded, espescially while praying.
*I've been lied to by the evil one, about who God is,and for a while it twisted my faith and everything surrounding it.

And there are more things like that, for example,I'm going to a preperation to be baptized.
That day, everything was fine, and abut 1,5 hour before that, suddenly this huge fever struck me...

Anyway,I was wondering if you people have gone through similar experiences?

God bless you all!

i think the struggles are showing you that you are on the right path...because the evil one wouldn't be trying to stop if you weren't on the right path....thats how i would think of it
good luck and god bless

Crazyfairy is spot on mate. Notice you werent being attacked before you made the decision.
The devil is sneaky but our God is stronger. Do not give the devil any strength. Throw him aside in the name of our Lord :)

It sounds like you are under spiritual attack and I don't quite remember mine experience because it well over ten years ago that I got baptized. I was thinking about getting re-baptized I got baptized quite quickly and it wasn't in the church that I had settled into so I have to wonder if I should do that again? I really wanted to get baptized in the lake rather in the church. The best advice I remember getting along time ago is some once said to me wear your bathing suit underneath your baptismal garment. They suggested that so my underwear wouldn't get wet and I also took a bath towel along with me. God bless and I will pray for you.

Yes, the bible does say that some people, persons, humans, men women on this earth do not like it when good things happen, when someone is healed, when your mind is made correct, when you become all that God intended you to be.

1. They do not understand, and you don't understand you tend to harm, ignore, or mistreat
2. They are jealous
3. They are threatened because there very survival depends on their position in this life, as worker, mother, wife, destroyer, uplifter.

So, understand what you are doing, and Americans have a different faith than other countries
