I'm 23 but some random people thought I was 15! My teenager cousins look older than me. When I'm with my mom and we bump into her friends, their comment would be like "you've grown now!" (In my country, that kind of compliment usually said to a child who just hit puberty). Even in the job interviews, they gave me a strange look. I tried to dress my age but it seems like I'm a little girl rushing to look like an adult. I just laugh it off but when I keep hearing it over and over again, it's annoying. well, I don't have a choice but to embrace it. Besides, people say i'll appreciate it in my 30's. :D :D :D Does anyone feel the same way?

I've always been told I look younger than I am (normally by 5-10 years) , it's quite annoying.
I don't know what one can do about it. Maybe wear a shirt that says how old you are? :p

I have the same problem. People always think I'm like 14/15. It's kinda annoying sometimes.

Do you live in America, or the Philippines? I know a lot of filipinas, because my mom is one,and they are mistaken for being young adults or even children ALL the time by the Americans. Even the ones in their late thirties. It's sort of funny (no offense intended), but someone mistook my mom's at the time 37 year old friend for my half -Filipino friends little sister, and he was around 14.

I get mistaken for a teen a lot, but I've always taken really good care of myself. This and genes I figured has a lot to do with it.

Hahaha yep, I'm 22, and when getting a new contract for my phone about 3 weeks ago, I was with my dad and the guy thought I was under 18. Another time, I was going to watch a football match, and security stopped me and asked to see my ticket and asked how old I was. I told him "22" and the guy said "oh really, you're 22 really are you son?" and I'm just like... annoying cos I actually am 22 lol

I laugh a bit when it happens but it's annoying

Im often told I look younger than I am, but I assume its because I keep my face shaved and I have long hair. Also maybe the way I dress, I like colorful things, like right now I have a pink wrist watch and pink shoelaces, so that probly gives the impression that Im young I guess : p

When you are nearing 69 being thought of as younger is a compliment!

People have told me that I look younger than my age, but I don't know. I'm not sure what you're supposed to look like at whatever age you are.
