Struggling with a Mental Illness is hard enough itself, but when your thoughts are irrational and interact with your spirituality is soo hard!!!!! I hear two voices in my head one is positive and the other negative so it is hard and confusing to know if it is Jesus/ The Father and Satan it is a battle and hard. I do have to say God has came through in amazing ways. I am learning new coping skills but have issues trusting people in the present because so many people have used me in the PAST!!! I do have an amazing woman of God in my life I met her in a High School for students who have struggled in a regular High School setting. I struggled a lot and finished High School with My diploma. The program was a true BLESSING and I met two amazing women one of them being my Mentor better yet she is totally a second Mom. I love her. Please pray for me and My Illness because it affects every part of my life including My Family's. Also please pray for My Relationship with The father I want to grow closer to him. Thank you Lord for letting me share...... Please respond with advice from The word.

Are you on, or have you considered medication. I dont always think everything mental is a spiritual battle. Medical conditions exist and it has nothing to do with your salvation.

Sorry to hear. I've battled depression and some other minor issues and have seen the difficulty and damage that mental illness has caused in others life. It is very taxing mentally, emotionally and spiritually at times. Few truly understand and being aware of the toll it causes on others around you can often lead to guilt.
But we keep getting up and pushing on anyways, which is all we can do. So good for you that you keep moving forward.

2 Timothy 1v7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Will pray.

Went through this for a while, don't listen to the one that sounds angry or short tempered.

Regardless of the source, always treat advice as if it came from a person unless you are convinced it came from one who's advice should be heeded, even a voice in your head, take the advice, think about it, and act according to a decision you come to
