There is a painting known as the anguished man. The artist who painted it mixed his blood with oil, and after he was finished he committed suicide.
The man who is currently in possession of it has been for about 5 years, ever since he inherited it from his grandmother. She said that it was haunted, claiming to see a shadow man, hearing loud noises, and other paranormal activity.
When the man inherited it, he took it to his house. There, he began to experience the same things his grandmother was before he died. Now he takes it with him to various haunted locatioms. There he sees more activity between the spirits of the artist, and the ones in that location

What do you all think of this?

Personally I don't believe in ghosts and hauntings.

I do believe in Satan and demonic activity.

These so called ghost hunters, another perspective is that they are attracting the
attention of demonic activity which follows them around wherever they go.

If Satan and his fallen angels can get people to believe in ghosts great, it lets them off the
hook and distracts from the true spiritual problem.

Ephesians 6:11-12 NKJV
[11] Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the
heavenly places.

I agree, ghosts are not human souls wandering the earth b/c in heb 9:27 it says man is destined to die once and then the judgement not roaming around on the earth..

Ghosts are really demons manifesting in the physical plane by loud noises, whisperings, hair standing up on end, throwing things across the room.....these are all commonly called hauntings by ghosts but in reality it is demonic activity and a demon needs rights in a place/person to manifest itself.....most places that are haunted usually have some kind of satanic ritual/covenant made in order for the demon to linger in the place/person.....this painting if real probably was some kind of blood oath made by the artist before either committing suicide or maybe b/c he failed to fulfill his satanic oath, the devil killed him....either way that blood paint is what is causing that demon/negative energy to follow it around.....once you burn that painting, there will no longer be any right for that demon to hang around the person or place where the painting was.....

People especially who are indoctrinated in philosophical thought/western/greek/roman rationalization via education/university fail to realize that the spiritual plane is very real and not some figment of the imagination or coping mechanism/crutch for those less scientifically "enlightened" ...Christians are not just meant to coast through life but that they are in a spiritual war and will be attacked by satan and his minions in various ways. Just b/c you accept Christ does not mean you have a magic cure against satan's attacks....he will still attack that's why Christians should be on guard....but you have extra help defense with Jesus in your heart so to speak....

I had a look on line at the painting mentioned and there is a lot of
speculation that it is a hoax. To be honest it doesn't look that artistic, I should
have thought anyone could throw it together.

It's strange that someone is now using it to investigate so called hauntings
after it attracted attention on YouTube and the Internet.

Maybe i could paint a picture and claim its touch brings riches
and I could charge people £10 a go. :p

Im sure if i posted it on the internet it would make me rich.

I also believe that "ghosts" are simply demons behaving the way a human spirit would. Thus, most alleged haunted objects seem to repell flames( such as the paintings of the crying boys)
Satan sends them out to cause havok and bring him more souls

Whats a Ponzi scheme.
It's a form of deception in promising returns in the future if you invest now....

Google defines it better:

 • a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors

one of the biggest ones during the 2008 economic collapse was Bernie Madeoff, he invested other people's money with promises of great returns only to be guilty of fraud and of keeping his books/ledgers deceptively....

I'm not an economist but that's the best I can explain it :)

To each their own....

but back to the topic... what other sculptures/paintings have you heard of that are "possessed"?

I know some totem poles/african voodoo masks have caused problems for Christian tourists when they take them back home with them as souvenirs....

You have the hands resist him, which is very creepy. You feel a sense of unease when you look at it. I would check it out. The crying boy paintings, which have been said to cause fires. There's a video of a man trying to burn it, but the flames dye out with only leaving a burn mark on the frame

There also a chair that a death row victem sat in and said all who sit here will die. All who sat in it died the same day. The doll who curses you if you don't ask his permission to take his picture. The doll who is possessed by a demon who claimed to be the ghost of a young girl named annibel.
