The good news came yesterday via text at a church (b) I was visiting, when a friend of mine let me know he was attending a new church. At this church (c), they have a young adult ministry.
We both used to attend another ministry (church a) in which we became friends. Unfortunately, in 2009, that ministry (church a) socially imploded. It was everyone for themself. Fortunately, I was out before things got really bad later that year. Tons of resignations. They still run it, but it's small and every other week. I returned for two evenings (church a) but it's just not the same. It was headed by quiet people who were in the background during the ministries (church a) prime and it's tough to respect them. The church (a) puts no effort into the program anymore.
The good news is like church (a), church (c) is within 20-30 minutes. It seems to be bumping and ready to roll. It sounds like a great time. I'll be going on Wed to visit and check it out. I'm very excited and hope this place meets my interests. I've been praying for a new social network of christians friends.
