If restaurants give you free food is it stealing? Today i went to wendys and was going to use my free frosty key chain. When it was purchased i thought we could use it from now till this time next year. Well the one said it only begins the start of 2017. However she let me have the frosty anyway. Was i stealing since dont believe she was supposed to do that.

Last time I went to Wendy's they neglected to give me the two single burgers I purchased along with the rest of the stuff. Why would Wendy's give you a frosty key chain that doesn't become active until 2017? Frosty's are good though. Had some chili too that was acceptable. Cold fries. They refunded my money the next day but gave me a hassle. Don't worry, you're good.

Even if it was a mistake it is not considered stealing on your part. Any mistake made by a store employee is always counted in your favor if you catch it. Recently I bought a bunch of cat food advertised at fifty cents a tin, but they rang it in at seventy nine cents because the sale had been over for almost three weeks despite the signs still being on the shelves. So not only did they honor the fifty cent price, I also got a free tin of food heehee. Another time I was purchasing these special mousse cups on my daughter's birthday. They were supposed to be five dollars each, and I was buying six of them, but the person who served me wrote them up on the bill as being five cents each. I tried to tell the cashier that there had been a mistake but he cut me off and said he could not do anything about it. He had to ring it what was on the bill even with both of us knowing it was wrong!
