So many of us are deceiving ourselves and we think that we are deceiving our parents, brothers, sisters, friends or communities. What a shame!
We go to church every day, some on Sundays and others on specific days; and we carried big Bibles; and we called ourselves Christians showing the world how we are worshiping GOD while we are doing all such of evil like fornication, adultery, lying, greediness, selfishness, gossiping, idol worship, disobedience to our parents and elders, stealing, scamming etc; and we say we are worshiping GOD.
What a shame! What a shame! What a shame!
I will tell you the truth, nothing but the truth only because I do not speak to please men but to please GOD. Whoever love doing such things as mention above and he say he is worshiping GOD and called himself a Christian; he is absolutely fooling or deceiving himself.
Unfortunately, some of our pastors run away from preaching what is destroying the lives of their Christians because they are afraid of losing members in their churches. Christians are involved in fornication, adultery, corruption etc in their churches and their communities; and they go to church and called themselves Christians; and their pastors are afraid to speak to them face to face that what they are doing is an abomination to GOD and that they should stop deceiving themselves. They are afraid to tell their Christians these because they do not want them to leave their churches. They speak, not to please GOD, but to please men.
What a shame! What a shame! What a shame!
Who are we fooling or who do we think we are fooling or deceiving? Why are we deceiving ourselves? I always say that one of the worst things a human being can do to him/herself is to fool or deceive him/herself.
Listen to what the word of GOD says, “Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of GOD. Let no one deceive you with empty words or you deceive yourself; for it is because of these things that the wrath of GOD comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not associate with these things”.
Salvation is personal and no one can force us to believe in the word of GOD. It is our free will to decide whether to believe that JESUS is the LORD and the Son of GOD. Since it is our free will to decide whether to believe in the word of GOD and to do the word in our lives; then why are we deceiving ourselves or pretending to be Christians when we are not?
We should stop fooling or deceiving ourselves that we are Christians when we are not doing the word of GOD in our lives. Carrying Bibles to church and calling ourselves Christians will not save our souls and it will not lead us to eternal life.
If we love doing fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lying, gossiping, cheating, greediness, idol worship etc; we should do them well and stop pretending and deceiving ourselves. No one can belong to satan and at the same time belong to JESUS. We cannot serve demon and JESUS together. We must choose one of them.
So choose which one of them you want to serve and serve it well rather than pretending and deceiving yourself.
If we love JESUS, we must know the word of GOD and live in the word. Living in the word of GOD means that we must do the word of GOD in our daily lives and by so doing; we are living in the word of GOD. Knowing the word alone without doing it in our lives is useless because this will lead us to hell. So we should stop fooling ourselves that we are Christians while indeed we are not. When we love doing things such as lying, fornication, adultery, gossiping, greediness, stealing etc means we are living in the bosom of satan. Satan does nothing without sin and all these are what he does and that is his nature. Sin is his nature.
Who told us that going to church alone without doing the word of GOD in our lives means worshiping or serving GOD? The devil is responsible for this thought. GOD Himself has said that He does not live in buildings or houses built by man. So how can we think that going to church means worshiping or serving GOD? The devil is responsible for this again.
Our bodies are the temples of GOD. For us to worship or serve GOD, we must worship Him in our Hearts (Human Spirit) and our bodies that is, we must do His word in our daily lives. The word of GOD is Spirit and when we believe in the word and do it in our daily lives; we are worshiping Him in Spirit and Truth.
The word says “We should love GOD with all our hearts, souls, strengths and minds”. Do we love Him? If we love Him, we will not love committing fornication, adultery, lying, stealing; and we will not be selfish, greedy etc. Since we do not love Him, we do all such of evil and evil is the nature of satan.
Doing the word of GOD in our lives is worshiping Him and at the same time serving Him. When we do the word of GOD in our lives, these honored Him, praised Him, adored Him, glorified Him and pleased Him.
So we should stop deceiving ourselves because it is a shame and destruction to us.
Remember, it is not too late to repent from our evil deeds. Repent now and be saved because no one knows the next seconds of his/her life. It may be too late for you if you do not repent now.
I do not speak to please men, but to please GOD. The word of GOD is the Truth and you cannot change it and I cannot change it. No man can change it.
