I'm completely lost. What is life? Is this real? Am I actually alive and breathing and thinking on my own or do we simply live in a computer simulation?

Jesus Christ is real...life without Him can seem like a computer simulation though...If you don't have a foundation in Christ, you will always have questions with no answers. Put your focus on God, and the things He said in the bible/the truth....
I recommend starting in Genesis.

what that feels like. Seek the heart of God in Jesus Christ. He
knows exactly where you are and how much you need Him.
