    Default American Stigma

I have noticed over the last year approximately, that people from other nations view the United States Christians (at times) as heretics and don't socialize with them due to a stigma that is on this nation and the Christians who reside in it. I'm curious on the thoughts of this matter. I, personally, feel bad that I'm placed in that assumption. However, I can also understand due to the massive amount of heresies in this country; and I mean the churches.

First time hearing such a thing.
But our churches are overrun with pastors focused on numbers of attendees while spouting shallow, superficial prosperity gospel heresies. Not to mention the silly false signs.
    Give me a new voice
Give me a heart for repentance and make it stay
    Cause I've idolized my words
    It's all my fault
    But it's comfortable

All of what you said could be true---- it doesn' t take away the true prosperity message ---- if people become wealthy and use money to fund the gospel---- this is good----if people focus on winning souls and use gifts as a power tools to reach them---- good----if Churches get packed with the saved lost--- and discipled---- good----- I have seen the good examples as listed--- if you have only seen the bad I apologize for this offense...

Hi Outcast, I have heard this on Christian radio. Some comments or questions were:

Do you allow prostitutes in your church?
Why are you so materialistic? I can't remember the others, but I'll post them if I remember them.
Oh, another one was why we hardly pray. I guess in other countries a prayer meeting can last for an hour or longer. But we tend to pray for a very short time.
Ezekiel 18:23 Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?

This is not altogether true---- Christians in other countries pray for us and love us---- they realize we struggle with a lukewarm spirit---- do you know that living under persecution is in some ways equal to living in abundance---- both are trials and tests the Lord allows----The Lord gives a special promise to the Church of Laodicea (lukewarm church)------if we overcome lukewarmness and fellowship with Him--- He will get to sit with Christ in His throne...(Revelation 3:14-22)

The problem here is that we only get certain types of American Christian Preachers and material here. But we have a history of importing American Cults. There are very few home grown ones of any influence in Britain.
