Football player getting punished in the UAE for having an "unethical haircut"

Asamoah Gyan deemed to have 'unethical hair' in United Arab Emirates - BBC Sport

Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan found guilty of having 'unethical hair'*

Asamoah Gyan fined for ‘unethical hair’ in United Arab Emirates - Goal.com

What... has the world come to? Punishing footballers for having "unethical hair".... and we all know how harsh punishments in those countries are. I agree some of the modern hairstyles are stupid, and I agree that some football players hairstyles are stupid. But to say it's a crime for having a hairstyle? I'm speechless, don't know what to say and it's not just one single footballer, it's him and over 40 other players playing in the country. I'm just speechless at the decision.

NFL more forceful on Texas 'bathroom bill' after Super Bowl | FOX Sports

transgender-bathroom-bill/

Once the NFL and NBA have so much power they can try and manipulate law and the state's then we got a big problem.

The league wants to cry when someone has not approved hair cut, or wear patriotic 9/11 cleats and was threatened to fine him.

But allow a man to bend his knee during the national anthem.

Here was their statements http://www.ninersnation.com/2016/8/27/12672566/nfl-statement-colin-kaepernick-national-anthem

Sorry and weak in my opinion. They are the boss and they make the rules. The football players are their employees. Your basically allowing your employees the choose to honor their country or not.

Of course football players can do what they want in their free time but on the job it should be mandatory to respect the country. But the NFL is too double sided.

And yes I understand this isn't the NFL but this topic reminded me of this craziness.

Don't be sorry mate, I think this article is stupid too. Like yeah you need to actually respect a country's laws and etc. But to get punished for having a specific type of haircut? I agree with you, it's really stupid.
