I just had a birthday a few days ago. The big 20. For some reason its really hitting me hard. I grew up and matured younger than most other kids due to circumstance and I never got a chance to just slow down. The real "adulting" is here now and its a little overwhelming. Did anyone else have these thoughts upon turning 20? Or still do?

You never really get used to aging :p Another spin around the sun, as Edwin sang :)

And no matter how old you are, we can only live one day at a time.

Yeah, for some reason I had a harder time with turning 20 than I did 30. Now I'm getting close to 40 so I'd love to turn 20 again....I just hope turning 40 isn't going to be 2 times as hard as turning 20...lol

Lol what, you're not a 20-something year old Young Adult?
Why do you protest? Am I not allowed to respond to give a different perspective?

Lol not protesting, I just find it funny.

I guess the rules say you're not suppose to be where you don't belong, but meh I don't think anyone here follows those anyways, so have at it.

Well for me personally I was excited turning 20. Though it didn't "hit" me hard I did reflect on life and how i couldve lead old friends to the lord that i lost touch with. Tbh I was very worldly before my 20's.

I cannot find the rule that says I cannot post in a forum aimed at younger people. Letting young people know that certain things may not necessarily change as you age seems pertinent to this thread.

Though it's okay, like I said it seems no one follows these. I mean just look at the Teens Section even!
