So I've been doing some thinking the last few days, thinking about how all the times I've tried to do Gods will. The more I do, it's like the more failure, the more calamity, the more bad things that seem to happen.

It's funny because when I used to not even try to Gods will, I never used to see the same bad stuff happening. Yet when I do, I see more things happening that would put me off from trying.

I see some serious pattern emerging here! I know that I carry more power in me than he that is in the world. That I have the potential to bring many people home to God and a faith in Him that leads to eternal life.

And the enemy, who sees and knows a believer when he sees one. Will try all he can do to blind and destroy that believer. Because he knows that believer has greater power in him than the enemy has. And he hates that.

After all, he hates all things from God. Especially human beings seeing as God esteemed us a little higher than the angels and he couldn't and can't stomach that.

So when he sees a faithful, a just, a strong believer, he knows that person has the ability to bring many souls home to God. So he tries all he can do to destroy that believer.

You better believe this!

He searches for ways to "latch" on to their life. He seeks to find a "foothold" that he can start climbing up and then when he finds a way in, he expands on that, using your own lusts, your own desires, against you.

And a lot of believers either don't know this, or don't believe it! But we are told by Peter in 1 Peter 5:8 to; Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

He literally roams through the Earth looking for believers to destroy.

Job 2:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

I once read something that has stuck with me for a long time. I can't remember where but it said something along the lines of, he walks through the streets and sees a drunkard down an alley way, he passes by knowing his life is already destroyed and the threat he opposes to his ministry is minimal. He carries on walking and sees a righteous man, and he then seeks out ways he can latch on to that persons life. He keeps his eye on him looking for the smallest thing, and then when he finds it, he focuses on that and that one small thing that can lead to another and and another until eventually, the good, upstanding, righteous man and believer is brought down through a multitude of sins. That man then goes on to stop being faithful and even to deny the existence of God since his life has seen so much calamity. Then his (Satans) work is complete and he goes off to look for someone else to steal, kill and destroy.

And that's a story that we hear playing out over and over again in history. How many people do you know of that were once faithful, but saw lots of calamity in their life (perhaps they were even abused some how) who then went on to become an atheist or just dropped their faith and even went on to curse God and those who believe in Him?

I actually know of a few people like that, both personally and through other people and just those you hear of all the time online and that. How some guy and his family used to attend church regularly, but he lost his job, he then lost his home, his wife left him, perhaps he lost someone who died and all his friends abandoned him. It's enough for any man to question his faith when that sort of stuff happens to you!

And Job certainly questioned God when that was happening to him. But Job is a shining example to all of us. To all of those that see failure and calamity, death and destruction in their life. And I do suppose that God even allows this to happen to us to test our faith. Although God doesn't need to "test" anyone because He knows the outcome.

But these things will happen in life. Maybe to me, maybe to you. Maybe to someone you know. To each and all of us. And that's not just because you've made a mistake or because of fate. It's because of the enemy always attacking us. Using our own ignorance, our own weakness, our own lusts and desires against us. Destroying us from within.

You must realise and remember, the enemy is very very clever. Supremely intelligent. He knows more about human beings and the way they work better than even the most highly esteemed psychologists do today. He knows how to use our own short comings, our own misguided beliefs against us.

And he literally targets those that "carry" the truth within them. Remember, we are all "vessels" of and for God. To carry His Holy spirit within us. To carry the "truth" and the "light" within us. To share that with others and to bring home souls to God.

But the more you try to please God, the more you attempt to carry out His will, the more you try to share that truth and light with others - the more the enemy will try to steal, kill and destroy you and your faith.

But also remember, (bind this onto your heart), the more you resist the devil, the more you resist his whiles, the stronger you'll become and the weaker he'll become. He'll then flee from you and seek someone less weak as you.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Overview and conclusion.

Sure, calamity, failure, sadness and sorrow may be just around the corner. And when that happens to you, the enemy will try to use it to stop you from believing. And he'll target those that are strong in faith and truth, because they are a bigger threat to his ministry. But when you see that happening - praise God! For you know why it's happening to you. It's because you are a powerful vessel for God to work through! :)

And that completes everything God was pressing on my heart to say on here!

I hope you will find it useful.

Amen. The devil will try to hinder those in the truth, and does not have to so much target those that are in deception concerning the Bible and salvation, for they are not preaching the right way to save a soul, like the new age movements interpretation of the Bible that God warns the saints to steer clear of it,and it is of seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils(1 Timothy 4:1-5,2 Timothy 4:2-4),and many others that do not have the right viewpoint of Jesus, and salvation.

Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Heb 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

1Pe 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

On earth the saints are a little lower than the angels, according to their flesh, but in the spiritual realm the angels would not want to get in to a wrestling match with the saints, for the saints will have a higher position than that of the angels, and have a glorified body like Christ's glorified body, for angels assist in helping the saints, and are ministering spirits, but it was all made for people, mainly the man Christ Jesus,so Satan would not like that.
