While all of this head knowledge is wonderful, do not forget two things. The heart behind the Gospel and your relationship with God. These things shouldn't be neglected, for what reason are you attaining all this knowledge? Your end game is ministry, yes? Make sure you heart is in it, to serve God by serving people. To encourage, exhort, and edify others. To love.
In respect to not neglecting your relationship with God, don't forget in all your studies that it isn't just a study of God, but God has through His word invited you, personally, into a relationship in which you can hear and converse with Him. He is alive, eternal and ever present. Have fellowship, prayer, with Him.
The heart of the Gospel being that we are saved unto good works and reconciled to God through Jesus Christ by faith. Those good works being love, which can express itself in many ways especially in obedience to the Lord. So don't neglect the foundations of the faith, practicing them, having your heart be in it, and spending time with God to know His will for your life (and ministry). Love God, and love others in obedience to His leading and will.
I can't emphasize it enough. Don't just get full of knowledge and understanding of scripture, but think in terms of practicality. With what you are learning, how can it be applicable in the lives of others? If you seek to serve others in ministry your goal then is to take what you have learned and then give it to others to uplift, encourage, and edify them. So, always keep your mind alert in lessons that can help others as you're learning.
What good is the knowledge you have gained if it doesn't assist in the serving of others? Its like reading a whole dictionary, learning complicated words, and then using it in casual conversation. What good is it to have a huge vocabulary and no one understand the message you are speaking? The point is to have the people understand what you're saying, so break it down. Personify it.
