Something atrocious and scary happened to me earlier today that I can't get off my mind. Earlier today I had flashing images and thoughts about Jesus on the cross, but around him was evil symbols of the devil, almost like he was evil, which I don't believe he is and know Jesus is holy, but the thoughts just kept coming back. Isn't this what Jesus described as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Please help me

You worry too much. The ONLY unforgivable is denying that Jesus is God, and died for our sins.. Now stop stressing.. :)

That's actually some really powerful symbolism. Because that's the point of Jesus' death on the cross. He is holiness itself, and he TOOK all those atrocious and horrible sins on himself, so he could receive our punishment and we would be free from our sin.

Christ took all your atrocious and scary thoughts, he removed them so that God no longer sees them in you, but instead sees you as his beloved child. No, you did not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.

The Lord says what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is. Its attributing Gods work to the devil. This is unforgivable and yes a christian can commit the sin but it would be a willful apostasy. Its not something you can accidently do.
