So I suffer from these as well as others I'm not going to mention. It makes it hard to do things like I can't drive like I want to. I want to go to church and drive and be normal. Not to mention I don't have any friends. Luckily a nice lady from my church is accepting me into a small group. Hopefully I can overcome this with help from the Lord.

Hi lil
Sorry to hear about your issues. I used to have anxiety attacks, so I know how difficult they can be.

A great therapy for your PTSD is called EMDR. It's safe to do and no weird stuff behind it I looked into it, and tried it, a few years ago. I found nothing in my research or experiences that was the least bit questionable. Including spiritually. But it has a high rate of success.

You need a counselor that has been licensed in it, but there are sources to help you locate people in your area. Hope it helps.

Try exposing yourself to your fears gradually. I have had panic attacks before though I don't think I have had ptsd. Avoiding fears does not help.

You are not alone. I deal with anxiety and PTSD as well. I can't give any advice or helpful words, but I understand it can be hard to live life the way you think you ought to be able to.

A regular licensed counselor can perform it. They just need to have been licensed for EMDR as well. So insurance shouldn't be a problem.
