Hello, all.

Came to Christ about 3 years ago. Since then I have been under attack. I know God is strengthening my faith but it's hard to relate to people what is happening. I was told by some people at my church that I must be doing something wrong to deserve all the stuff happening.

Just this pass month I lost my job with no possibility to get unemployment. Sudden shootings in my neighborhood leading to the death of 3 young men and watching them take the dead body of a 19 year old kid was hard to take in. Not to mention I have to walk pass these crime scenes just to leave my house. I started to pray for this nieghborhood and all hell broke loose in my life. I haven't stopped praying and I won't!

I have had days were I am lifting my hands and worshipping Christ for the peace He has given me, a peace I have never had before. But then there are some days when I feel like my mind is playing tricks on me. I know it's the enemy telling me I won't have any way to pay my rent or your doing something wrong. Not living in sin, so Satan doesn't have a case against me. Every other day is a battle but I haven't stopped getting on my knees and seeking Him with my whole heart. I guess the enemy thinks he could just scare me away from my prayer life.

It hurts and I know it's ok to be vulnerable. Looking for any brothers or sisters that may understand and stand in agreement in prayer with me. I believe that I need some powerful prayer warriors. Don't pray God remove me from the situation unless that's His will, but pray that God give me peace and strength to endure. Thank you!

Amen! You have a very good attitude about your situation :) I am praying for you as I write this message, that God will give you strength and peace about the things going on around you. You are protected and the child of the Most High, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords! These times give us the opportunity to press into the Lord and to be relentless against the enemy, stay in rest and peace and remember who you are in the Lord. Faith comes by hearing and receiving the word of the God, get uplifted by the Word of the Lord and enter into His presence. I love watching TBN or Daystar and hearing the uplifting messages that the preachers bring, Joseph Prince is amazing and gives you the rest and peace we all need through his revelation of the Word of God. God provides for the birds of the earth so how much more will He provide for His children? When we see no way, God is always working behind the scenes getting things ready for the next step and door that we are to go through. This is an opportunity to trust in Him and allow Him to lead you, be patient and trust the Lord then see Him work in your behalf and the blessings of God will chase you down!

Love you my sister!

No you are not doing anything wrong. It actually the opposite. The enemy attacks when we are doing the right thing. I deal with this kind of thing regularly. Lots of strong willed Christians deal with this... and we often hear people say "Oh, your probably doing something wrong" all the time. No, if you pray for the neighborhood and the enemy doesn't want to leave, then you are doing the right thing.

Actually, I can guarantee that if you give up, the enemy will only harass you more.

FYI, pray and question the counsel of the people in your church. If the masses give you bad advice once, then they could give you bad advice a second time.

I'll pray for your success with the neighborhood, safety, a job, and wise counsel from Christians.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU SISTER.

When everything around you seems or suggests that there is no future for you, you can be happy and rejoice as a Christian because nothing happens by chance and everything happens for a reason; and all things will work together for your good because you love GOD.

As a Christian, there is nothing like chance. Our HOLY FATHER in Heaven knows everything before it happens and HE cares for us so much and HE will never allow anything to happen to us, if it is not for our good. That's why the HOLY SPIRIT says, "... In everything GOD works for good with those who love HIM, who are called according to HIS Purpose (Romans 8:28)."

So my dear, whatever situation you may be facing stay focus onto JESUS, your Victory is guarantee. Rejoice and be happy for you are a success and a victor; you are the salt of the earth; you are the light of the world; and all things will work together for your good.

Thank you LORD JESUS, You took our place that we should take Yours; and now we are in Your Fullness.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Glory to GOD ALMIGHTY our RIGHTEOUS FATHER forever and ever in JESUS' NAME.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

In the natural, young David was no match for the giant named Goliath. There was no possible way he could defeat that mean, skilled, fighting machine. That's how everyone saw it that day. But what they did not see, was the covenant relationship young David had with His God. For years, he had been groomed and trained in knowing and trusting Him. This challenge was not Goliath verses David, it was the giant against David's God. An impossible challenge for the proud, obnoxious foe. No matter the size of the adversity, remember Who you are in covenant with - the battle is the Lord's. You can trust Him to be your champion.
