My name is Chris Preston I’m 27 years old. God has spoken to me and told me that I am to go on a mission trip across the world for 11 months, He said go, so I'm just saying yes. It is called the World Race and it's not meant for everyone but I believe this was meant for me. I don't have a home of my own, I don’t own a car or have any major bills as I recently divorced and have very few possessions. My entire life I was put into the fire and experienced trials so that I may be cleansed so that I would be able to walk as a real born again Christian. I am now free of belongings and worldly baggage that I now see as a blessing because I am now free to chase this vision. I was initially discouraged once I saw the cost but decided not to give up so easily on this calling. I have given up my past life completely as a musician even though I was pretty good, and gave up everything that was not pleasing to Him so that I now only chase God’s calling and not my own
