When I was six I was in daycare and a teacher asked me "What does love mean to you?" And I recited this:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

That was the first thing that popped into my little head. Amazing isn't it?
So they made a poster thing with what each kids answer said, and while the other kids had "My mom" or "My dad" I had Corinthians 13:4-8 :)

Peace be with you my brother in JESUS' NAME.
Please whenever you want to write the name of our HOLY FATHER in Heaven, start it with a capital letter that is God or write it all with capital letters that is GOD. Do not write it like this god.
I love you bro. JESUS loves you so much.
Take care.

I know it sounds weird, but I have a love-hate relationship with Love, kinda.

That is all.

I like a quote I heard by Arne Garborg, (whoever he is).

“To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart and to sing it to them when they have forgotten.”

It mostly applies to human love, (unlike I Cor. 13 or something, which applies to all kinds of love), but it is cool.

If God is love, then when I truly love in Christ, I love as the love of God, otherwise I have not loved in Agape (unconditional) love. My burdened heart for the lost, and my enlightened heart in knowing the hope to which He has called me; the riches of His glorious inheritance in His Holy people and His incomparably great power for those of us who believe - all came as revelations as I simply walked in His love becoming my own. But to keep ourselves as God's love is needing to be a bondservant to that love relationship; to righteousness. And that takes a plan.

We know today, how to keep ourselves in health, how to keep ourselves in knowledge, but to keep ourselves in the love of God is a big order, and our minds are exercised to know what Jude means by this exhortation:

(Jude 17-21):

17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Does relaxing all stringency and carefulness mean we slip out into Broad, humanitarian frame of mind that says,"God is love," and, "God's in His heaven; thus, all is right with the world?" No, it cannot mean anything so natural as that; otherwise we had no need of an inspired writer to tell us to do it. And besides, Jude strikes terrible notes of warning. "Keep yourselves in love with God," refers very clearly to something distinct and special; something revealed in the direct will of God; a spiritual endeavor that we must consider carefully with the Holy Spirit.

I love Andy Stanley's video out, which you can see on YouTube, called, "Staying in Love." Its a four part video which deals with marriages and human relationships taught to us thru Scripture. I highly recommend it. In that series He says, "It only takes a pulse to fall in love, but it takes a plan to stay in love." He then goes on to paint that plan based on God's Word. For me, I came to love the way I do thru revelation, perhaps I can use that as an example of the pulse..but to stay in and to continue to be that love to, and for, others takes a plan. This plan has Scriptural specifics to guide but the answer to that is righteousness; which is all-inclusive to the Triune God and His Word and prayer.

For me love is: "Trusting in my Lord with all of my heart and not letting my own understanding get in the way, but rather I, submit to Him. As I have done this thru faith, He has made my paths straight and my love real and unconditional. He has made my love for others undyingly powerful. This is my love now, which is not the love I was born with, yet it is indeed mine. And I understand as I get to know My Father personally, that I will always need to follow His plan now to keep His love alive and enthusiastic within me.
