Peace be with you my dear lovely sister in JESUS' NAME.
    Good morning.

First of all, take note of this that fear is from the devil and not from GOD.
So, this is what you should do first. Say or confess this to yourself always, "The LORD is my Shepherd, I refuse to fear. The LORD is my Helper, I refuse to be afraid. What can man do to me."

Declare this always and the fear will leave you.

Now let us talk about the other issues. For it is written, Let him who boast, boast of the LORD (1 Corinthians 1:31)."
Again, it is written, "So let no one boast of men (1 Corinthians 3:21).

So, you should boast of GOD and GOD alone. You should be proud of HIM and HIM alone. As children of GOD, we can't do anything on our own strength or power. We have no power or strength of our own. HE is our strength, power, salvation, life and our everything. GOD is everything to us.

You should be proud of What HE has done for you and for others. Be proud of HIS deeds. Be proud of HIS Grace. Be proud of HIS Mercy. In short, be proud of everything concerning HIM. For example, GOD has made you HIS Righteousness in CHRIST JESUS. Be proud of this and do not be ashamed to declare or speak it out anytime and in any place. Be proud that you are the Righteousness of GOD in CHRIST JESUS. Be proud that because of JESUS CHRIST, you live. Be proud that you are saved by Grace. Be proud that you are a Child of GOD, and do not be ashamed to declare or speak it anytime and anywhere. Never be ashamed to introduce yourself in any event that you are the Temple of the LIVING GOD and the Righteousness of GOD in CHRIST JESUS. Be proud of what GOD has done and what HE is doing in your life and in the life of others.
When you do these, you are not proud of yourself but you are proud of GOD. Acknowledge what HE has done in yourself and in the life others and give HIM all the Praises and thanks.

Again, another example: The LORD has blessed you with a husband. You need to respond to this. Your respond will be "I'm so proud of GOD ALMIGHTY for HE has blessed me with the Best Husband in the whole universe. Because of CHRIST, I am a joy wife; I am a married woman today." When you say such words, you are not proud of yourself but you are proud of GOD who has done it for you. And by so doing, you are acknowledging HIM. For it is written, "In all your ways acknowledge HIM... (Proverb 3:6)."

GOD bless you my dear lovely sister. Be proud of our HEAVENLY FATHER ALWAYS.
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OF ALL.
BLESSED BE GOD FOREVER AND EVER IN JESUS' NAME.

Today I've been thinking about how I see myself versus how God sees me, and I noticed that I have quite a tendency towards the ''sinner'' side instead of the ''child of God'' side. It seems as if I feel more comfortable there because that's how I'm used to seeing myself. I remember that in the beginning of my walk, I had some days where I was afraid to rest in His love, because I thought I would end up taking Him for granted or disrespecting Him. I think this is a kind of behavior i learned from the way my parents treated me.

Now though, I know that when I step into my new identity in Christ, as a beloved child of God, I will be way better at serving Him and others, and I'll feel more peace and comfort instead of guilt and condemnation, which in me results in apathy. I feel like owning my identity in Christ will make me arrogant or puffed up, because I don't deserve it you know? Who am I to call myself a child of God right? (It's not me who does it, but God, and that's the thing.)

Especially in the light of us needing to be humble before Him, and not thinking highly of ourselves (at least not higher than we ought to think). In a way, owning what God says about us is a form of humility, but because it makes me feel positive things about myself, I am quick to back away from that out of fear of becoming ignorant. I think there can be a fine line sometimes between self-confidence and pride, but that's just me. My habit is to just stay in the ''dirty sinner'' corner, to avoid becoming too prideful.

Does anyone have some advice on how I can let go of this fear of actually feeling good about myself in the way that God sees me? I need to find a balance but I have no idea how to even tackle this issue.

    Thank you so much
