So my whole life I've worn skirts. No pants. And every time someone would ask me why I would say it was something God spoke to my mom about. But here recently this topic has come up a lot. I've been doin a study and I know the Bible says not to. But I want a Christian guys opinion. Just about every girl in America wears pants so is it really an "issue" or is it something that's nice to see when a girl is wearing a skirt? What's the thoughts on women in pants?

I posted a thread on a similar topic a while back, but I think most of what was discussed in there still applies. The overall consensus was that clothing, as it pertains to modesty, really comes down to personal preference, because what is considered modest is mostly subjective. There really isn't a "do wear this" and "don't wear that" section in the Bible, and so in regard to your question, is it ok for women to wear pants, I would say yes, as long as YOU want to/are comfortable with it, and do not think it is immodest. Paul writes in Romans 14:13-23 that nothing in and of itself is "unclean" unless one thinks it is unclean. So basically I think what Paul is saying is that you have to decide for yourself. Are you wearing pants that you think are immodest? What is your purpose for wearing pants (i.e. is it sexual in nature)? Those are questions you must ask yourself. If our hearts do not condemn us, as in we are not doing what we do or wearing what we wear out of a sense of lust, sinfulness...etc. then it is acceptable. What one considers modest may be immodest to another, and vice versa. So as I said before, it really comes down to how you feel about it, and what your intentions are, anyone else's opinion shouldn't matter.
As far as "is it nice to see when a girl is wearing a skirt?", I would say in my personal opinion there is a classic, womanly look to it (a regular skirt mind you, not the short ones a lot of people wear today), but at the end of the day people are free to wear whatever they want, and I couldn't care less what someone decides to wear. Are they nice? Yes. Should they be mandatory? No. You should figure out what you are comfortable with, why you want to wear them, and then make your decision. If your reason for wearing skirts is simply because of societal pressure, than I would caution you to rethink your motives, because as the Bible tells us, we may live in the world, but we are not of the world, and so we should not conform to the world in our actions, dress, manners...etc. simply because of peer pressure.
