Pot - When on pot only talk to others on pot
FB - When on FB only talk to others on FB
Pot - Get's irritable if can't score any pot
FB - Get's irritable if internet connection is down
Pot - Sit around for hours doing very little
FB - Sit around for hours doing very little
Pot - Neglect of relationships outside of circle of pot smokers
FB - Neglect of relationships outside of circle of FB users
Pot - Defensiveness over usage
FB - Defensiveness over usage
Pot - Have a crap day, have some pot to chill out

I sit around for hours get irritable defensive and have difficulty maintaining relationships without facebook or pot.... Does that sound normal??? :D

I agree with some of this, I dont think facebook puts me in a better mood than when I started sometimes it makes me mood worse if I decide to go look into my past a bit too much...But yeah its definetely an addiction, although personally im getting bored of it and only stay on when theres someone I want to chat with which is like four of my friends out of however many.

12 months ago i could have sympathized with you completely... not the facebook mind... but Jesus is my pot now. Im peace and my chill pill when im down.

Facebook is not a drug. It is a way to get in touch with family and friends. Drugs dont do that for you.

I beg to differ... I don't know about you guys, but marijuana IS God's creation. In my personal experience, I wouldn't have the relationship and the understanding without the use of marijuana. It seems like people criticize the topic when they don't have any experience or research into the matter with an open heart. Living life in society nowadays seems almost impossible since it's filled with materialistic people... plus we know that marijuana really isn't that bad for you. For example, smoking it is the only that's unhealthy because of the carcinogens in the smoke... but yet it found to be healthier than tobacco smoke. There's no brain damage from consuming the product either and no one has ever died... so I guess people are just following what the gov't and the crap in the media which gives marijuana such a bad name.
If you think about it... we have to travel the path that isn't traveled very often meaning the route to God is a harder path to get on and follow if you don't know what you are doing and if your friends are on the average path... materialistic path. I found marijuana very helpful on getting onto that path and not letting anyone tear me down even though I have been growing up and trying to please everyone (which made me feel like hypocritical and two-faced). What if God made marijuana as a way to connect with Him Spiritually? I can tell you first hand that the only thing marijuana has done for me is open my eyes to this world, appreciate God's creation, made a stronger relationship to God and Jesus, and open my heart to love everyone regardless if we agree or not. I guess the proof through my experience plays such a big role in how I view marijuana. If people actually stopped and researched the topic, I think a lot more people would have to agree.

Haha too funny. One of my favorite quotes is "When good things become ultimate, ultimately good things become very destructive things." In other words, many things are good, but if that's the only thing you are after, ultimately those things become destructive such as facebook. I don't think you could apply this quote to pot though haha. Pot is not really a good thing to begin with, so please don't justify using pot by this quote haha. Pot can lead to throat cancer and unhealthy lungs which can lead to lung cancer and obesity, because you aren't getting enough oxygen to be able to exercise effectively. It can also lead to colon cancer even. I wouldn't reccomend anyone to do pot. not even spiritual or religious purposes. i don't even know hpw that could be effective. Learn about God in a conscience manner, so that you can discern the truth about him. God is great, seek him.

The reason for throat cancer would be due to imbalances... that's what cancer and disease is from. Imbalances. Cancer and disease are signs from your body saying "do something different or there will be destruction" in a sense haha. Marijuana has been proved more towards it does NOT lower oxygen levels and does NOT increase the chances of respiratory diseases. Where are you getting your information? I've done the research over and over and always see misleading information that gets passed around... too bad research can't be done on it since it is a Schedule 1 drug... meaning there's no medicinal value to it. We already know through cancer and MS patients that marijuana is indeed very effective. The people that voted on having it a schedule 1 drug didn't even realize hemp products like paper(which the Declaration of Independence was written on was the same thing) and rope. Education is key... but there's been a stand still because of people's ignorance. The truth always comes out, but when is the question.

Speaking on a personal note... I don't think anyone needs anything to have a relationship with God, but I do consider substances can lead to a relationship with God. So would you rather have someone who found the path to God's heart by consuming marijuana or would you rather have people remain ignorant on their purpose here on earth and continue to have constant struggles because they are living the materialistic world? To me, getting on the right path to God's heart is the most important thing...which is the conscience manner by opening your eyes to what really matters. When I found that path, I realized nothing compares to God's love.
